Hey there, hi there, ho there you're as welcome as can be to my Disney Quick Fix TR. I have lurked on Dis for quite some time and, in order to help my post vacation blues, I decided to dip my toes into the TR waters.
A little background on us: We are a family of 4 from the beautiful state of South Carolina. I grew up going to Walt Disney World for 1 or 2 days, as a day trip, during my family's annual Daytona Beach vacations. In 1994, while on our high school senior trip, my husband and I actually started dating at WDW. Our first kiss was on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. :) In March of 1999 we honeymooned at WDW for a week but stayed off site. In March 2002 we decided our daughter, 17 months at the time, needed her first WDW vacation and our first on site stay. We stayed 5 nights at CBR and our addiction began. That beautiful girl is now 15 with 17 WDW trips under her belt. Our son was born in 2007 and now has 10 trips completed.
Now on to the main event:
This quick drop into WDW for 2 nights was to give us a Disney fix, as the main part of the vacation was 7 nights aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. We just couldn't drive thru the state of Florida and not stop at our home away from home. I'm sure many of you understand this feeling. We decided to cross resort #8 off our list, try something new, and booked Coronado Springs for 2 nights, with one day in MK.

We started our journey at the land of Mickey at 3:15AM. A very uneventful and quick 8 hours later we were arriving to CSR. CSR sign.JPG

I had received a text message 10 minutes prior stating that our room was ready. YEA! We decided to go ahead and stop by the front desk anyway to pick up a parking pass. We then proceeded to room our in Casitas building 3, room # 3327. The grounds of CSR are beautiful and the room was very clean.

We didn't allow the dust to settle before we headed to the bus stop. As we were walking across the parking lot toward the stop we noticed the Disney Springs bus sitting there. Of course, it pulled off just as we were getting close. We parked it and waited for 30 minutes for the next Disney Springs bus. We so do love the Disney bus rides.

We were all quite frankly a little disoriented upon arrival at Disney Springs. Our last visit was June 2015 and with all the new additions it's easy to get turned around. Our first priority was lunch, so we decided to try something new at House of Blues. Our lunch was good but service was slow. After soaking in the AC and fueling our tanks we decided to grab desserts in some new locations. First up was my choice of Sprinkles. I didn't try the cupcake ATM, although the concept is so inviting. The choices looked so yummy and I ended up with the salted caramel cupcake. It was ohhhhh so yummy! I will definitely be back there.

We then stopped into The Ganachery where we purchased 2 of the salted caramel chocolates. These were good but pricey for the size. Next stop was Amorette's Patisserie. This bakery is just beautiful. Many of the same selections that you find at Les Halles Boulangerie at Epcot. The hand crafted cakes in here were GORGEOUS. I was so busy drooling over the macaroons that I failed to take any pictures. I purchased a sample box of macaroons and my hubby got a pastry but I can not remember which one. We then shopped around World of Disney before trekking back over to the bus stop. Once we were back at CSR the kids wanted to go try out the slide at the main pool. This pool is well themed and they loved the slide. We turned in early as the heat and early wake up were wearing us down. The next day we were to be up early for rope drop at MK.
