I was sitting on the couch and watching tv on my laptop a second ago and looked at her and she was trying to hide that she was crying :lmao: she was watcing the fox and the hound
cute/funny she was really mad when i asked her if the movie was sad?

I've cried with lots of Disney movies when I was younger (Lion King, The Fox and the hound, Dumbo, Bambi). I think, even though I have 20 years old (and I may be embarased of writing this:rotfl:).... The Hunchback of Notre Dame still makes my eyes wet. Haven't seen it for while for this reason:confused3

Different things make us cry at different ages.
I find it interesting that at age five she was hiding it.

Your little sister is in good company- many people cry during Disney movies. They are good at tugging on the heartstrings, after all. I am a middle aged mom, and I cry during almost every Disney movie I watch (and I usually try to be discreet, too).

I cry in nearly every Disney movie at some point. Some of us are just criers and some are not. As a crier, I can tell you I have often wished I was not, but I have little control over it.

The worst thing is when people laugh, so give little sis a break :flower3:

I know this one isn't a Disney movie but I was bawling my eyes out when we went to see the Time Traveller's Wife. I had to hold in my sobs I can't believe that as a 26 guy I had tears just streaming down my face. But luckily enough everyone else in the theatre was crying too.

Fox & The Hound is one of those movies that sticks out in my mind as one that I've always cried at while watching. When Todd & Copper are telling each other that they'll always be friends and I know what is coming at the end. Love this movie but it always makes me cry.

I have not seen Fox & The Hound or Lion King.
I better catch up!

I blubbered all the way through UP!
My kids wouldn't go to see a movie with me for a month after that!

I had for fast-forward through the Ursala scene in Little Mermaid when I was young. (Sorry UrsalasShadow)

Fox and the Hound has always gotten to me. Until my nephew got it for Christmas, though, I didn't know that it gets all four of my brothers, too. lol

Count me in with the criers. Especially if it is a Disney movie.

My dh and I once took another couple to the movies to see Big Fish. I thought I was safe because it seemed like a off-beat comedy. WRONG! I SOBBED all through the last 15 minutes. Sobbed in the parking lot on the way to the car and (just) cried a little bit on the way to drop them off at home. They were so embarressed for me. Dh was just embarressed. :)

What's that song in "Toy Story 2" ?

"When Somebody Loved Me" ?

It just *wrecked* me and I was "full grown" and everything. ;)

I guess it was that I didn't have my "walls" up, or something, I never saw it coming.

Still kinda gets to me. :sad1:

I can't listen to "When She Loved Me" without sobbing- ever. DD gets so embarrassed that I cry, but I can't help it. What gets me about that song- it makes me think of DD growing up and away from me, not needing me anymore.

tht song gets me too...but not to the point of crying...its because my toys have a special place in my heart and i see how i am growing up and they keep getting farther away from me :( and i dont know why im telling you all this...now im getting goose bumps

:lmao:

My DD6 cried at the end of that movie. I can't believe my DD CRIED OVER A GOURD!!!!!:rotfl2:

I love that song but it did break me up pretty bad too. Last year when I lost my very precious kitty baby, Gidget to cancer, I compiled some songs on CD to remember her by and that is one of the songs on there as well as Baby of Mine from Dumbo and others.

As a mother of a now grown child (man), I've never been able to get through that scene in Dumbo when his Mom is rocking him in her trunk during the Baby of Mine song. Just dissolves me into a big pile of mush.

Gotta go blow my nose now. :sad1:
