We are getting ready to get a puppy...:rolleyes1 we have decided we want to name it Disney name. I thought it would be fun to see if anyone had some suggestions?

Also I have not owned a dog in 11 years if anyone has puppy trips it would be appreciated. :cutie:

How about just naming it Disney. My dog's mom was named Disney. Other suggestions would be Minnie or Belle.

Buster! (from Toy Story, oddly enough, well before the movies came out when I was a kid my grandma had a dog named Buster.)

Max (Little Mermaid)

Dug (Up)

I'm afraid I would need to go by what the puppy will look like for a real opinion! Breed or colour?

I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Tinkerbell. Poor thing is usually called by a variation of that though-Tink, Tinky, Stinkerbell, Tinkerdumplin'(DH's nickname for her, lol)

I agree with the previous poster about knowing what kind of puppy you are getting.

We have a cat named Stitch and a Lab name Jumba. We are Lilo & Stitch fans.. Next animal will be female and named Lilo

I also agree with needing the breed. I've had a cocker spaniel named Lady, and a Newfoundland named Nana (from Peter Pan, everyone forgets her!☺), personality and breed make the difference!

"Jack" - for Captain Jack Sparrow

Simba/Nala

Mickey

"Kuzco" ( pronounced, 'cews-co') from "The Emperor's New Groove".

(Or "Kronk" as a runner-up)

What can I say, I love that movie ! :tilt:

Our dogs.. Golden retreiver: Woody
Cocker spaniel: Andy
Maltese: Prince, nickname Princy Pooh

When you get your new puppy, ask the breeder what type of dog food they are currently feeding the puppy. Is it on a fixed schedule? IPotty trained on wee pats? Maybe give the breeder a small blanket a couple of days before you pick up puppy and ask them to put the blanket with the puppy's Mom to get her scent on it. First couple of days most pups miss their Mom.

Post pics when you get your puppy:cutie:

Lady and the Tramp is (obviously) a great source. You've got the title characters, plus Jock, Trusty, Peg, Dachsie, Pedro, and of course, Lulu and Trixie and Fifi and Pedro's sister Rosita Chaquita Juanita Chihuahua...he thinks...:lmao:

101 Dalmatians would similarly provide a lot of ideas. We had a dog named Towser, after the dog at the end of the "barking chain" in that movie- the one on the hill out in the country, with the goose named Lucy. He and Lucy are the ones who go get the Colonel.

We just adopted a dog and named him Gus after the mouse in Cinderella.

All of our pets have had Disney names. We have a dog named Oddball (101 Dalmations) and a kitty named Tiana (Princess and the Frog). We have also owned other pets named Belle, Tinkerbell and Chance.

We have a Max too- but he was named after Goofy's son and other other house dog it Lily (short for Tiger Lily) we also have a goat named Dory, our ducks are Ernie and Lulu (I can't think a a disney conection for their names - is there one)

We had a German Shepard we called Kuna.. Short for Hakuna Maratta. I like EPCOT or what about O'hana.. Do you want it to be a character?
