As a mother of an MP soldier who should be in Iraq (he's injured right now so he's non-deployable) I find this very disturbing and completely inappropriate. While I am all for freedom I speech I would like to see it removed from this board.

Flame away on civil liberties but this just goes to far!

OK, preparing for flames here..................but while I find this distressing I believe the creator made it to make people think.

To me it says "Here are the people who have died and here is the man who decided they should be put in harms way".......... It's a sock in the stomach but its one person's statement.

There are other ways to make a point than to use the soldiers pictures like that. How do you think the families of those soldiers feel? How do you think it makes other military families feel.
What that "artist" did crosses the line between "art" and exploitation!

I'll tell you what, if that was, God forbid, my son in one of those pictures that "artist" would have the wrath of Hell upon him!

I also think to post it here is wrong. That very easily could have been a posters son in one of those pictures.

Our military is put on the front lines everyday, whether the public agrees with policies or not. To use a soldier like that is deplorable!

So similar photos made of those who died in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, or the Gulf War of Pres. Wilson, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Bush (the first one) would not be a problem?

I'm all for civil rights and freedoms, but I'd be horrified to see my father's or brothers' pictures used this way. There are appropriate ways to make a statement and then there are inappropriate ways.

This one goes way beyond inappropriate... so far beyond there are not words to adequately describe it.

I can only click on the link, but do we know that these are fallen soldiers? Perhaps they are not. They don't really even look like the pictures of soldiers. There is a huge variety of ages represented. Perhaps they are proud citizens who are behind their President?
There seems to be a lot of repetition in the obviously computer generated photo but I can't really make it out clearly enough to jump to any conclusions.
