<p>Always fun getting together with the Atlanta area DIS'ers. I had a
business trip there, and always looking to get a DIS meet going, a DIS meet we
had. A nice turnout too. Ead79 (Elisabeth) picked <a href="http://www.fuddruckers.com/about-us.html"><i>Fuddruckers</i></a>,
an excellent hamburger place, as the site.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/1.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Though I did get lost on the way there from my hotel near the airport (I knew
I had gone too far when I was getting close to TN, LOL), I had left with plenty
of time to spare and was there about 45 minutes early. Time enough to take
a few pictures before everyone showed up.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/2.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/3.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/4.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Even enough time for a self-portrait in a mirror.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/5.jpg" width="338" height="450"></p>
<p>We're ready!!!!!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/6.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Build it and they will come, and come to the meet they did. Here is,
from left, Belle1962 (Luann), Robinrs (Robin) and ead79 (Elisabeth). Great
smiles everyone.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/7.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>And then, from left, Olena (Heather) and her hubby Chris, Sha_lyn (Sharon),
her daughter Brianna, cute as a button, and hubby, Tony. They were a bit
more stoic at this point than the other side of the table.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/8.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Elisabeth's recent Disney wedding pictures were a big hit with everyone, such
a beautiful bride and handsome couple her and new hubby, Colin, did make at
WDW. Thanks so much, Elisabeth, for bringing them.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/9.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Brianna says, 'I'm cute too, look at me too, not just those pictures with the
pretty people in them.'</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/10.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>Robin's son Michael did not really care about the wedding pictures, he was
enjoying the video arcade.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/11.jpg" width="338" height="450"></p>
<p>As was Sharon's son, Russell, enjoying those video games.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/12.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>A group shot of most everyone at the table, including, on the right, Larry,
who is THE Larry in the DISer's, larry's girl, screen name. So happy you
came, Larry, even though your wife could not make it, and now you have to get a
DIS name and have some fun too. Robin and Elisabeth were seeing who could
sing 'It's a Small World' the loudest.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/13.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>As I get ready to take this picture, Robin has a surprise for me with her
camera. She has that 'evil' look, doesn't she, LOL?</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/14.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>I think she got me. Elisabeth approves.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/15.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>And here is everyone I think, in front, Michael, Brianna, Sharon, Luann,
Robin, Elisabeth, in back, me, Chris, Heather, Larry and Tony.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/16.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>And who should show up just after the group picture, but Elisabeth's prince
and new hubby, Colin. Nice guy he is too.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/17.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>And still a bit later, Lanshark (Marcie) and her hubby, Craig, stopped by
too. We had a nice crowd, lots of great conversation, fun. We stayed
till they 'threw' us out at closing, ringing the big bell, telling us the night
was over. Us DIS'ers have closed more restaurants over the years, a gabby
bunch we are. Everyone headed home, me back to the hotel. Thanks so
much for a nice afternoon and evening.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/18.jpg" width="338" height="450"></p>
<p>I still have room for 3 more pictures here, so.....Towncrier (John) was
intending on driving down to Atlanta from Ohio for this meet, a tried and true
DIS meeter he is. He and I were going to stop by the Coca-Cola Museum,
located in downtown Atlanta on Sunday. With John having broken his leg a
few days before leaving, he certainly was not able to make the meet (and we sure
did miss you, John). I did visit downtown for a few hours on Sunday, a
nice time I had too. Here is the entrance area to the Coca-Cola
Museum. One thing which was most interesting was seeing how protective and
unswervingly Coca-Cola is in both protecting and marketing their name, reminded
me much of <i>Disney</i>.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/21.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>A view of the State Capitol, as seen from a window in the Coca-Cola
Museum. Lots of history in this area.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.dmurphydis2.com/Meets/Atlanta_March_2003/22.jpg" width="600" height="450"></p>
<p>And I thought all DIS'ers would get a kick out of this picture.</p>
<p>And that's it, Atlanta, DIS'ers, Coca-Cola.</p>

Evil, Dan??? MEEE????

LOL!

Thanks for posting these! We had such a great time!

Oh, yeah and Thanks for the pic of me with my MOUTH WIDE OPEN!

Dan:
Did you "trick" anyone to taste the Beverly?

I got a couple of highschoolers who in turn "got" their teachers.

We enjoyed the Coca Cola museum & the Atlanta Kids Museum.

Thanks for the pix as we can put faces to names now.
