Hi everyone...It's me again. This week is a bit different as will next week. My fiance and I are starting to feel "Disney burnout"....say it isn't so...Yea...Its possible to have to much Disney...LOL...but we still can't stay away. So we decided to take it easy and go to River Country.....
We both decided to sleep a bit later and both of us were up kinda early..LOL...We were out the door by 1 and parked at DD by 2. Of course as our luck would have it, it begins to rain as we reach the property..LOL..we decide to go anyway. We bring the umbrella and take the packed to the gills TTC bus to the TTC. We switch to the Boone bus and into FW we go. We get to River Country and find......ITS PACKED!!!! WoW!! We get changed and head in. Boy the water is really warm...where to go first. The body slide looks like there isn't too long of a ride so we swim over and up we go...Get all the way to the top and fiance heads down first..I am getting ready to go when I am stopped by the CM. A lifeguard jumped in at the bottom (this seemed to happen a lot!). So as I am waiting and chatting with the CM, Goofy appears. He slaps me five, I pinch his nose, He playfully grabs at my face. I am then given the go ahead. Goofy gives me a wave and a foot push down and away I go...I am giggling all the way down, disappointed that my fiance missed it. But he did see the Goofster at the top and asked me if I saw him...LOL...I sure did! We hang out at the botom and are treated to Goofy going down the slide. Feet and arms flying everywhere! We then swim to the Cable ride thing and just as we are getting ready to climb the steps, Goofy appears again..LOL...He pats me and Fiance on the shoulder and gives me a thumbs up and jumps back into the water and swims away..LOL..It was hilarious watching him swim...He looked so menacing..LOL..we mange to do the tube ride and swim a bit in the pool itself. We watched a cannonball competition and also did the body slide a few more times. Goofy did appear one more time and did the tube slide and also the slide in the pool. The one that ends about 4 feet above the pool. He was cheered on by the crowd on that one. We left at 5:30ish and took the boat to Wilderness Lodge where we changed and went to dinner..and you regular readers know what was on the menu...Sadly though I didn't partake in the Open Faced Turkey delights as I am on a new diet, so I had a Roast Beef(or Beast as I call it) and Provolone sandwhich..Very good!! After dinner we walked to the bus stop and waited for what seemed like hours but was more like 30mins for the DD bus. We are on the bus with obnoxious people( couldn't place the accent) and couldn't wait for the West Side to arrive!! We get off the bus and drop off the umbrella(that was NEVER used) and wet clothes and head for the island. We get there at about 7:45 and take note that a Comedy Warehouse show is at 8:15. We go into our favorite place Adventurers Club and see who is in the cast. We hang there a few minutes and get into line for Comedy Warehouse about 8:00. Get a decent seat, but the show was lacking something...oh yeah...COMEDY!! It was horrible.. We head for D'Zertz and get 2 drinks and 2 Rice Krispies. So much for the diet..LOL..Its ok..I didn't meet my points for that day anyway(Weight Watchers 1-2-3 Success plan) We check out club Motion as they are playing Men in Black then head back to Adventurers. We get our normal seats and are recognized by a few people!! A good night but missed some of our normal players. The guy who plays Hathaway Brown was sitting on a girls lap and then switched places and had his hands on her thigh!! Wow what liberty!! I would have slapped him...We headed back to the car and went home, Talking of the Adventurers Club!
Well next week will be a bit different. Next week we are going to go to Wet N Wild waterpark. I have never been and they are open until 10pm through the month of July so we are going to check it out. My fiance pointed out that we were going to break the streak of WDW every week since March 31! So we decided to go to PI to keep the streak alive! Next week I will post of our adventure! So until next week.....
