It was one of those days at work where I wished someone would fire me and get me out of the misery. I came home depressed and out of sorts.
Looked at the dogs available for adoption at petfinder.com and found this little girl was at a city shelter close by:
I've been very half heartedly looking for another Bichon Frise but didn't really want to get another puppy. I also thought an older dog would be better suited to my younger DD.
I wasn't sure if they'd still have her but when Sam got home from school we went over and she was still there. A little older than I might have picked but once you are there with them it's too hard not to take them home. Made a quick stop at the vet to get her checked out, said she's about 10yo and does have limited vision due to cataracts but is in general good health.
Her name is Angel!
