We've gotten a bit " Dized out", so we got 2-park Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure Annual passes and we're going in May.

I'm Disabled..I had a stroke 3+ yrs ago & I ride an electric scooter.

How "Handicapped friendly" are the 2 parks??

Where is " Rip Ride Rocket"?

Do you like US / IOA, or Disney World?

Any pointers??? Wish me luck.

They are very handicapped friendly. You won't have any problems moving around the park at all!

RRR is at Universal Studios.

I like US/IOA. It is so fun, and the onsite resorts are just amazing. We really love our trip to US/IOA. We come home very relaxed!

Just enjoy yourself, and if you can swing it...stay onsite. It is worth every $$$

US/IOA seemed very accomadating to the guests I saw when I've been there.

RRR is in Universal Studios. If you walk in the main entrance, it's straight up on and your left.

I like all the parks.

I like that US/IOA seems a little more laid-back, not as many strollers to worry about crashing into your ankles ;) and a few more adult-oriented special activites (Mardi Gras, Horror Nights). I also dig the coasters.

I do like WDW for their attention to detail in themes, the character interaction, and some of my favorite classic rides like Pirates. pirate:

My tip: If you are planning on riding the water rides at IOA, you will get SOAKED. So pack extra clothes and put your stuff in a locker, wear flip-flops, etc... I've seen alot of people come off of Dudley Do-Right with a look of shock while they try to dry off their cell phone. :scared1:

Have fun. Try to do it all, but if you don't, it'll be there next time. :thumbsup2
