A couple things to ponder. . .

If Saddam had the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" the Bush administration has been claiming wouldn't he have used them already?


If Bush really believes he has them, wouldn't giving Saddam the 48 hour warning and now these "surgical" strikes while our troops till sit there waiting make them sitting ducks for the very WMD's he claims Saddam has?


Either Bush is giving Saddam every opportunity to use the WMD' h claims Saddam has against our troops or this is prooof positive that his whole reason for this invation was bull****.


Oh, and in case anyone missed it last night, he admitted Iraq had no part in 9/11; but that they "might" in something similar "maybe" if we don't do this now. . .

God bless our troops, the British troops, and the Iraqui people. . . let's hope it goes quick and doesn't cause more problems then it solves. .

I guess I'd rather believe that Bush is a liar with a hidden agenda then that he's stupid enough to put our troops in that kind of danger. . guess we'll see. . .

You must be one of the few in the world that believe Saddam has no WMD! Even the French say they'll join us if he uses them! The entire UN believes he has them! I hope you're right but I believe in my heart that even if not used they will find them shortly!

And more importantly: if Bush is so sure he has them, why he is iving him so much of an opportunity to use them against our troops? They are sitting ducks right now. . .

But tied to 9/11 or an immediate danger to our country?

Yes, Willy J, I hope he doesn't use them against our troops but if he has them I think it would be nieve for us to think he won't use them. He is psychotic and I'm sure will try to take as many people - his or ours - with him when he goes as he can. If the WMDs exist then this is an absolutely essential fight for the US and I applaud the president. IF the WMDs don't exist then the French, Germans and Russians are right and there is no call for us to be attacking a sovereign nation. We will be branded as the worst kind of hypocrites. That's why I say that I hope they exist. Personally, I believe they exist and I support President Bush completely.

for very obvious reasons, we'll never know. We know he runs terrorist training camps. We know at least one of them contains a 747 or some such thing, for 'training'. We know he's a head cheerleader for radical Islamics, he funds the families of suicide bombers. We know he's been at war, or involved in a war, for the majority of his reign in Iraq. He hates the US more than anything, even Israel.

I ask you...did it ever occur to you that 9/11 was a very sophisticated operation, quite possibly beyond a bunch of ragtag cave-dwelling fanatics halfway across the world?

Hans Blix has said that he believes that Saddam would not use chemical or biological weapons even if he has them. He said that he believed he would not want to prove America right even if it would likely result in his death by not using them.
