A couple random DLH questions...

Well, for so long it seemed like time was dragging by, but now we are down to 9 days until we leave for DL!!

I was hoping someone could answer a coffee question for me. We are staying at the DLH...do they have the little coffee makers in the rooms, that make just a cup or two at a time? And what kind of coffee do they leave in the room? I'm going to put together a Von's order for bottled water, etc, and I'm thinking I could order some good coffee for the room if I need to. We'll have 3 adults, so I'm wondering how long it will take in the AM to brew enough coffee to get us going. We are big coffee people!

Now that we are getting close, new questions are popping into my head...Oh!! I remember another one...for anyone who has stayed at the DLH, do you remember if there is access to a garbage chute and/or room? My brother will have a small amount of personal items sealed and contained each day, but we would rather not leave them in the room overnight or for a long period of time. I would like to have somewhere to take the garbage if possible. I know - it's a weird question...

I think those were my two main questions for the day...a big thank you to anyone who has any info for me! We are getting super excited!!!

Yes they had 4 cup coffee makers in the room and I don't know about the garbage chute, but you could take the item with you and dispose of it in DTD.

As long it is not a hazmat item it will not be a problem. There are no chutes in the hotel, everyone just leaves their trash for mousekeeping.

Thank you - 4-cup makers are better than 2-cup!

I would buy your own coffee grounds if you want to make it in the in room pot. Their coffee is pretty gross, IMO.

They have free coffee by the lobby in the main tower. I don't remember it being great or horrible. Convinient for a cup to take along in the mornings.

I stayed there three years ago and didn't realize that until the LAST day! Every day I bought it in the bakery.

IMO, same as the room coffee. DLR has no good coffee in any disney owned places!
