I am not completely understanding the point system and need just a little clear up...
Say we are vacation Dec 9-15(checking out the 15th) would that all be Adventure season??? What if I went in between the seasons?? Please explain to me how that works.
A week is Sun - Sun, Mon- Mon, etc right???
Sorry I have been asking so many questions lately I just want to fully understand how to use our DVC.
Oh yea tickets... Can you pre-buy a Annual Pass?? or do you need to buy when you arrive?? I know you can pre-buy park tickets and they dont activate til you go thru the turnstiles on our first day.

I know I have more questions and I will probably be asking again... THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help.

I'm not sure about the AP, but with the points you have a lot of flexibility. It's based on the number of days and the points of those specific days. There is no "week" per se. Unlike traditional timeshares, you can check in any day you want, provided there is availability.

I understand that... When I was asking about a week.... I meant when it gives you the weekly pt amount that it is 7 nights/8 days... Sun-Sun, Mon-mon so on and so forth correct??? I really wanna know how it would work inbetween seasons or like I said if I checked in Dec 9th and checked out Dec 15th would that all be adventure seasons since all the nights would be in adventure season.

DVC does not have weeks - only points per night. If you cross season's the points change based on the night.

I know Disney does not have weeks... I'm asking when it says weekly 246 pts the time frame of this is it 7 nights which would be a sun-sun per se am I wording this so it is confusing if so I'm sorry. I'm just trying to make sure what I think is correct. (As long as we are in the same season)

Thank you for that clear up, so I was right in thinking if we book Dec 9 - Dec 15 the whole trip will be adventure season points cuz our last night is Dec 14.

Any 7 consecutive nights within that season. 5 weekday nights and 2 weekend nights added up. It's only there for planning convenience, there is no discounts for the weekly rate.

If your trip crosses seasons, it must be calculated each night separate.

7 nights is what they show for the weeks. It's always easy to double check too - just multiply the point requirements for 7 nights and it will total the amount they show per week. If you check in on Sunday you would be checking out on Sunday.

For 2012 that would be correct. Seasons can get modified a bit by a day or two from year to year so that may not always be correct for those dates.

The points listing for a week is just there to give you an idea what a week would be. You should always mark down your days then look each day up to see what each day will cost.

The point calculator on the member website makes it real easy so give it a try also.

Now for the AP. Many of us buy vouchers for the Dis AP prior to August since WDW often raises the ticket prices then. You can have a physical voucher sent to you for $5, or use will call at Guest Relations for free. I generally use the will call feature. The AP will activate once you use it.

So that means I could activate it in Dec 2012 and be able to use it for our Sept 2013 trip as well.

Another question what are the chances of getting a studio at blt mk view Dec 9 - 15 at the 7 month mark?

This year ticket prices were increased in June. It coincides with the release of the following year's room packages and this year they bumped it up to June.

I would guess it is a slim chance but better than your chance of standard. I would say if you can get into BLT during that time you will be looking at Lakeview but I would definately have already booked your home resort if you want to be at Disney at that time. That is one of the weeks that books up the fastest due to the lower point requirements as well as the Christmas decor being up.
