My younger DD has looked forward to WDW mostly for the pony rides at the Tri-Circle D. First of all I know they got rid of the petting animals are the pony rides still going on? Second question, my younger DD keeps talking about Blueberry the pony she rode the last time she was there and that she wants to ride him again. What are the chances that Blueberry is still there?

thanks

We took the kids for pony rides in Feb for $4 each. Sorry, can't tell you about Blueberry, but Candy, Nemo, and Snickers were there. Have fun!

We rode Nemo, Tonka, and Snickers. There were a few goats and a few pigs, I think you could pet them, but they were not where we could reach them. You lead the ponies around yourself, which I had never done before.

My son likes Blueberry too. :) But the last time was 2 years ago, we haven't been back to the Fort since then.

My 4 year old daughter loves Blueberry too!! That's all she asks for when we go to Disney and no other pony will do. She has been riding him since she was two. Luckily, she only remembers his name and doesn't remember what the pony looks like. So, once we were there and Blueberry wasn't, we stressed to the cast member that we could only ride Blueberry (with a wink) and the castmember was more than thrilled to secretly call her pony Blueberry so she didn't know any different. Worked like a charm. The way I see it, if a pony named Blueberry gives her the "magic" feeling, it was worth the slight deception. :woohoo:

We have thought about doing a slight deception like that, but I worry she would realize since she has a photo of her riding Blueberry in her room. So I don't know....we will have to see.

Our DD rode Bluberry a previous year, but rode Tonka this year. I did not even consider that the same ponies would be rotated year after year. I am not even sure why I never thought about that before.

As for your deception dilemna, you could always say that Blueberry is on vacation or visiting her parents.
