A Couple Online ADR Questions...

I was able to make my ADRs this morning, and got everything we wanted, but I had a couple questions I was hoping someone could answer...

1) We check in Nov 28, which is a "holiday" night and blacked out according to the free dining dates, so it seems most people are checkingin Nov 29 instead. I figured that got me a one day jump on ADRs that week, so I was a little surprised that Le Cellier had NO dinner times for Nov 30. So what's the deal? Is it really possible that all the onsite people who could already book took the reservations up or are there people who get more than a 90 window? :confused3 Just curious...

2) The latest time we could get for Yak and Yeti was 4:45pm. Dec park hours aren't out yet, so I'm guessing this is based on a 5pm park closing. If the park hours are released and AK stays open later, is it possible that later ADRs will open up?

Thanks!!

Definitely possible that Le Cellier is just already booked by people arriving earlier that week & staying longer. We are arriving 11/28 also (and the "blackout" didn't deter me, because FD was extended back to the 28th since we were staying longer during the dates FD was offered) and had a hard time finding Le Cellier reservations when we wanted -- even for Friday 12/4!!

My guess is that there are fewer "regular" reservations during that week because of the Candlelight Processional packages? I think that is one of the restaurants where it is offered, but I could be wrong. However, everything I've read ranks that as the #1 hardest reservation to get at WDW!!

Not sure about AK -- that just might be a function of people making reservations before our window opened as well. I'm hoping AK will be open until 7 -- the Nov hours that are out have a 7pm close, however, the past 2 years it has been 5 pm when we have been in December.

Thanks! So were you able to get Le C? We got Thursday Dec 3rd at 6:50p, which will work out fine. I really was surprised that nothing came up for Nov 30, but now I'm glad we got it at all!

I did not get the original reservation date for Le Cellier that I wanted when I first got up and booked all of my ADRs. However, kept re-checking during the day and finally in the evening something opened for the 30th (earlier). So I cancelled my other ADR so someone else could take it. I'm sure this happens all day long. Also, this is my 4th ADR for Le Cellier - I've changed it that many times working my way to the date and time I wanted. Try calling Disney Dining too - they may be able to work some magic - that is how I got my 3rd ADR. (Yes - I did cancel all of the other ones that I didn't want). Good Luck!

Thanks! I think what we got is going to work out fine. I just had to flip-flop nights with Garden Grill, but both nights we planned to be in Epcot anyway, so its all good!

I was just a little surprised that everything was gone for the 30th already!

Glad to hear yours worked out, too! :thumbsup2

This better be a great meal! :rotfl:
