I wanted to share a couple of things that might be helpful for others.

Hollywood & Vine, character breakfast

We'd heard/read mixed reviews of this restaurant. I can say that we LOVED it. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Several 'different' things, like potato casserole, that were delicious. Our service was fine and the atmosphere was alot of fun. So if you're read bad reviews but really want to try it I say go for it!

First, those with children beware...you must go through the candy shop next door to get to the bathroom! This was a real PITA with my 3 yo who didn't want to come back into the restaurant...he'd rather have spent time checking out the candy! LOL

Second, we mentioned mom's b-day when making the ADR. We had lovely personalized menus and on our arrival they wished her Happy Birthday and offered her a complimentary glass of champagne or special creme brulee for dessert. Since we were on the DDP she chose the champagne. They did a great job of making her feel special.

Third, there was no creme brulee on the dessert menu. Mom didn't want it, but it's my favorite so I asked the waitress since she'd mentioned it earlier. She said they generally only do it for special events but she'd be happy to arrange for me to have one. I was in heaven! In case it's someone else's favorite, be sure to ask if you really want it. You never know!

Fourth, they offer the chocolate puzzle dessert for kids that I'd read about on here before our trip. TOTALLY ds's favorite dessert of the trip. It was SO much fun!
