I have not been on this in over 15 years, but my DDs want to go this year. Have a couple of questions.
1. can you walk up or do you have to take the ski lift
2. can you wear water shoes on the ride? Normally we wear them around the parks but wasn't sure about this slide.
3. Can you wear sunglasses on the ride? Or hold them at least while going down?

Thanks.

1. Yes. you can walk up on stairs built into the mountain to the top of the lift.

2. Just as any slide, you can hold them.

Holding sunglasses failed for me once, one lens popped out and was lost forever on summit plummet. Waste of a nice pair of raybans

As PP said, you can hold your shoes and your sunglasses. But I prefer to bring nothing when going on a slide. I'm always afraid that I could loose sth. while riding.
Another very important thing I want to add here: Please make sure you use enough sunscreen before you go in line for Summit Plummet. Before you climb the stairs you'll maybe have to wait some time in the sun - this can turn out very very bad for your skin!

How long? Do I need to bring a snack?

The only way I would ever go on Summit Plummit is if a serial killer was coming after me with an axe and sliding down was my only way to survive. Otherwise I would never willlingly go on that ride.

Yes, but if he did would you wear your sunglasses?

So, why are you prejudiced against just the AXE carrying serial killers? I myself fear any and all .... :confused3
