I just modified our summer stay this morning. Now I have a few questions. We are staying in a 1BR at OKW for the first 5 nights. I did not make any specific requests. Can I call back and ask for our room to be near the HH? I believe that is a specific booking category, no longer a request. Correct?

Also, we are then moving for 6 nights to a 2BR at BCV. My email confirmation for BCV states 2 bedroom villa - 2 queen beds. Does this mean we will definitely have two beds in the second bedroom or might we still end up with 1 bed and the sleeper sofa? Also, is there any way to know if this is a dedicated or lockoff 2BR? I would think that it would be a dedicated if it has two queen beds. Am I correct in that thinking? If not can/should I call back and request a dedicated 2BR which is what we would prefer? Lastly, any room location recommenations for BCV? It has been several years since our one and only stay at BCV. That was our first trip as owners, we didn't know as much about DVC as we do now and we have never actually stayed there again yet. We are very excited to be going back! A villa near the HH is a separate booking category, but I don't know for sure if they can just "modify" your current reservation to switch to HH (if available) or cancel and rebook. Hopefully they consider that just a modification, but who knows with MS sometimes!

If your confirmation says two queen beds, then it sounds like a dedicated. Last I knew, only OKW had two queen beds in every studio. Check with what it says on dvcmember.com my current reservation for OKW says it is a "dedicated" 2-bedroom. No mention of "2 queen beds".

We've only stayed at BVC once and didn't request a view. We ended up with a view of the woods with the WS just beyond it. We could see some of the Illuminations fireworks through the trees!

HH is booking category and you would have to call and see if it is available and then change reservation to get it.

If the BCV 2BR has two queens, it has to be a dedicated 2BR. All the lock-offs have a queen and sleeper sofa in second bedroom; the dedicated 2BRs will have either queen and sleeper sofa or two queens. If reservation says two queens in second bedroom then you are getting a dedicated 2BR. However, someone should clarify. I understood that you could book and get a dedicated 2BR at BCV but I thought you were not quaranteed to have two queens

The 2 queens in second bedroom is a guaranteed booking. We had that earlier this month and reservation did say it was that.
