1. Do you really need to have a fastpass for world of color? Is it a sit down show?
2. Can you enter the same park several times in the same day? (no park hopper)
3. Does disneyland not have a place on the website to create a personalized map like WDW does?

Thank you for your knowledge:idea:

It's not a sit-down show, it is standing only. And yes, you "really" need to have a Fastpass or they will not allow you to enter the viewing area. You can see some of the lights and hear some of the sounds if you're outside of the viewing area, but that is definitely not the recommended way of viewing the show in its entirety. Here is the link to the WOC Superthread that will help you understand how the show works: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2542717&highlight=woc+superthread

Yes, just get your hand stamped when you leave. They will have to scan your ticket each time you enter and, on busy days especially, they make sure you have a hand stamp as well.

3. Does disneyland not have a place on the website to create a personalized map like WDW does? Don't know the answer to this one but if they do, I don't know how to do it.

Thank you for your knowledge:idea:

1. Do you really need to have a fastpass for world of color? Yes - to have a good view at least.
Is it a sit down show? Nope
2. Can you enter the same park several times in the same day? (no park hopper) Yes but why not have park hopper - it's super easy to hop and all multi day passes are hoppers.
3. Does disneyland not have a place on the website to create a personalized map like WDW does? I don't know :confused3

You're welcome :goodvibes

The fastpasses for World of Color isn't like other fastpasses. You have to look at it like a ticket for admission to the show. I have tried to see WoC without a fastpass... let me tell you- NOT worth it! You will definitely want to get a FP.

Thanks everyone! :)We're just going 2 days and want to try to save money by not getting a hopper.

I have to have a Disney intervention then and say that, in my opinion, you'd be WASTING money by not getting a hopper. If you're going for two days, you're going to want to maximize your time by hopping in between the two parks, collecting FP's for both throughout the day. I'd hate for you to be at DCA and find that you've finished your day around 4:00 PM. Wouldn't it be fantastic to just be able to hop over to Disneyland for a few hours to ride some rides and then return to DCA at night for World of Color? Also, it's great to know that when you're in Disneyland and it starts to get crowded, you can head over to DCA and enjoy a few rides and then come back to DL later on.

It is literally only TEN DOLLARS MORE to get a 2-day park hopper than it is to get the 2-day, 1-park-per-day tickets. You'd be foolish not to get hoppers, in my opinion, and I hope you reconsider!

I'm going for a conference and I have a lot of time constraints and won't have much time at either place. That's why I was going to get a 2 day ticket because I may only have a few hours each day. So I may not have time to hop. I also am getting a discounted rate through the conference.
