A Couple of Questions for you Experts

We are flying out for our first time home next Wednesday for 8 days at OKW, and 6 days at Vero, we are taking a couple of friends with us and have been trying to sort out what sort of passes would be best for them.
We did not want to get length of stay passes as they want to visit some of the non-Disney attractions so I was considering the 5 day park hopper so we still get the flexibility to move between the parks.

My question is I we were thinking that if the other couple did not use all the 5 days my DW and I could buy back off them any day's remaining (they would be unlikely to visit again). Is this possible or do you have to sign the tickets or anything like that.

The other question was does staying at OKW allow us to use the transport system and get free parking at the parks ?.

You do not have to sign the tickets and they really have no idea who bought 5 day passes to begin with. I know that they say that the tickets are not transferable, but we have done this many times. For our upcoming trip we bought 5 day passes for our daughters who will only be using 2 days. We will be using the remainder ourselves the following week.

You have full access to the transportation system by staying at any WDW resort. And parking is free at the parks. You just need to display the parking pass that they give you at check-in in your car window.
