I am sorry if I am asking something that has already been discussed but as I glanced through the DDP thread I did not see these questions answered.:)

When a child's TS menu has add $2. does that apply to DDP or is that for paying OOP or both?

WCC at WL used to have the 'bottomless milkshakes' which my kids  ...is that still an option there? Is that a beverage or dessert?

Thanks, I am trying to finalize my ADR list because my 180th day is tomorrow:yay: .

I am not sure what you are referring to on the Child's TS menu "add $2", so I really can't answer that.

About the milkshakes, usually milkshakes are a dessert, but we have found that it kind of depends on the server. Once at 50's PTC, our dd got a milkshake for a drink and also got a dessert and I expected to have to pay oop for one of them, but when I asked the server, she said "don't worry about it, Have a magical day." I don't know how they would do with Bottomless shakes though. they may just offer a regular shake with no refills.

As a rule, if there is an add-on price, the item is not available to Dining Plan patrons. However, most restaurants and servers are more generous than that, either allowing the Dining Plan patron to pay the surcharge or, when they're being especially generous, just allowing the patron to have the add-on at no additional charge.

As a rule, specialty drinks like milkshakes are not included on the Dining Plan. However, again, some restaurants and servers are more generous than that. The reports from guests I've read concerning Whsipering Canyon indicate that at least in those cases, the bottomless milkshakes at Whispering Canyon are allowed as a beverage. The server we had during our last visit to 50s Prime Time Cafe also allowed us to order milkshakes (not bottomless, there), as either beverage, dessert, or both.

YMMV (You may experience something different, so please don't count on any of this being the case during your visit.)

We will be at the POP Oct. 21-28
I, too, have been obsessing about DDP for the last week...I have my ADR list, but I am open for changes if they seem right!

When we ate at Le Cellier on the DDP, my dd ordered the steak off the childrens menu, which stated to add $2 for this. We were never charged for it though. Of course i'm not sure of what the 'official' rule on this would be, just sharing our experience.:)

I got this info off of: allearsnet.com under their dining and menu selection

Example of the $2 menu surcharge:

Whispering Canyon Cafe:
Menu Date: March 2007

Appetizers: Watermelon OR Garden Salad
Entrees: Cheeseburger OR Macaroni and Cheese OR Canyon Skillet (Add $2.00 for Skillet)
Desserts: Cinnamon Apples OR Chocolate Chip Cookies OR Worms in Dirt

LeCellier at Epcot

Pasta and Tomato Sauce
OR
Hot Dog
OR
Grilled Steak - Add $2.00

my DD is 8 and she is a really big eater with great metabolism, I guess, because she eats more than DS12 and she is very slim. She will want similar fare to the rest and yes, we can easily share but I was just curious about the $2, it will be worth it to me not to hear the complaining about the unfairness of it all  How he gets this and that and she can't.

It's that sibling thing....You all know what I mean...;)
