A couple of questions about check in at CBR

My sister, niece, and I are Disney bound in July. I'm dropping my sister and niece off in Ocala to visit friends and I am going on down to CBR for a few solo days. Since I will be checking in alone, will they give me resort id cards for my sister and niece or will they have to go get them when they arrive (three days later)? Also, will they have any trouble getting into the resort since the friend will be driving them down to CBR and of course they won't have a resort car id.

I would guess that they would not give you the cards. Your best bet is to call CBR directly and ask them about the policy. The issue becomes one of if you lose a card and some absconds with it, they have access to everything. Also, Disney now uses a fingerprint to get into the park with your cards. If someone gets it, your sister is SOL.

As for getting in to the resort, should be no issue. As long as your sister and niece are going to be checking in, the guard at the gate should have no problem with letting them in.

It should be no problem. I check in without my family present all the time. You'll get the cards all together, I even ask for a second parking pass for my dd sometimes. Her getting in the gate should be no problem either, if they ask, she's just checking in.

My mother has check into our 2 rooms while the other 4 or us were at the outlet mall and has always been able to get ours for us.
