A couple of last minute questions!

You really wont even be able to use the double stroller on the ship...the elevators are small and may just fit you and the stroller LOL!! Its also not easy getting around the ship and people with the double. I brought a regualr size stroller the dirst time and wished after about 3 hours that I brought my umbrella stroller!
I had 3 people and was staying 10 days at disney and 4 on the cruise and didn't even have 4 suitcases for us all LOL...even 7 is a lot to bring!

I would hate to rent a stroller at wdw, because by the time you rent a stroller you could buy your own! 6 yr. old kids are very undestructable, but I just don't know after 12 hours of walking. I might want to use the stroller and have my dh push! ;) Most likely we won't even be using the stroller on the cruise.
aprilgail-did you feel you needed a stroller at all on the cruie? I know your daughter was about the same age as mine. We don't plan on doing much in Nassua.
Will dcl store the stroller for me if I don't use it for the 4 nights? Should I bring two umbrella strollers instead. I do have a couple of them. Has anyone done wdw after the cruise with a 6 yr. old? Was your 6 yr. old to tired to walk at times? I would rather be annoyed by a bulky stroller than a wining 6 year old.

You might want to check out stroller rental rates at WDW rather than messing with a double stroller on the plane and ship. I thought 6 yo kids were indestructable.
6yo and parents of 6yo might think that they are indestructable, but they are in the agegroup that's most likely to have a meltdown after a long (and yes hard and tireing) day at WDW. Bring the stroller and insist that the 6yo sit in it as you move from land to land at wdw. Once you're in an area, park it and explore/ride on foot, then back to the stroller to move to a new section of the park.

We did a land/sea this past July with a 6 year old and 8yr old. The 6 year old had at least a melt down a day because he was tired. My DH got really tired of "up on shoulders" after awhile. The day we went to Epcot we hadn't even made it into the park and DS was already whining
:sad2: We did end up renting a stroller that day. We should have rented a double because DD8 was then whining she didn't have a ride; not our best day. :D
