A couple of DL Questions

Question #1 - Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. Yay or Nay?? Thoughts? Your experiences??? We are thinking about going the first night we are there after we fly in - its a non park day for us. Or maybe we should go some where else?? We are staying at PP.

Question #2 - I booked all my travel through Disney and when they sent me the confirmation it says under magical extras that we have EMH for each day (I already know about that), and also says it includes a "photo memory". Anybody know what this is? Just curious!

Goofy's would be a fun way to start getting your Disney on! I'd vote yay!

In your package you should have a little booklet. The booklet will contain a voucher for the lanyard and pin (if they are still doing that) and one for a free print of one of your photopass pictures. You would redeem that at one of the photo shops.

I've done the dinner twice and had very good experiences. Both times it was just like you have planned arrival dinner on a non-park day. It's fun and gives you the Disney feel right away. Go and enjoy.

Not sure about #2 sorry, I've never done a package.

We were there on Friday / Aug 19th. We got there at 4:30pm, the place was practically empty. Lots of fun interaction with characters. That was our last meal before departing Disneyland and heading back to reality. We had such a good time. Attentive CM's & Characters. The food was hot, fresh, plentiful and lots of good variety. It did start getting really busy by 5:30pm. We had a group of 10. A great time was had by all.

Thanks everybody! Our reservation would be towards the end of dinner, so I am hoping for not too crazy!

And thanks for the info on the picture. We haven't gotten our goodies yet, just a confirmation letter - so I know more is to come!
