Hey, everybody! My family is going back to the World in October, and we're trying to decide which restaurants to eat at for breakfast. We're going to be stopping by the Kona Cafe for Tonga Toast one day for sure, but we wanted at least one other TS breakfast. On our last trip, we tried 1900 Park Fare, and while we loved the character interaction (Alice and the Mad Hatter rock! :woohoo: ) we thought the food was just okay. Not bad, just not anything spectacular. So where would you suggest us to eat and why? What's your favorite dish there? It doesn't matter whether its a character breakfast or not, just give me your ideas. Any help is appreciated! :goodvibes

You might consider Boma. My DH and I tried the breakfast buffet there this past February and we really enjoyed it. They had some unusual dishes as well as your normal American fare. The Frunch (juice)is absolutely wonderful!

Last year we enjoyed Trails End breakfast buffet. It was very reasonably priced and the food and CMs were fantastic.

Ooh, I didn't even think of Boma! That sounds like a great option! We've been dying to check out AKL and we were even planning on staying there before the construction was announced. This would be a "killing two birds with one stone" kind of thing. A great breakfast and some resort exploring! :cool1: Thanks so much for the idea!

Fantastic food at reasonable prices is always good when eating in the World. :thumbsup2 We'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for your input!

The best breakfasts that we have had have been at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom and Olivia's at Old Key West. Crystal Palace is a buffet. At Olivia's, we had omlettes that were fantastic.

Food-wise, I enjoyed either Princess Storybook breakfast in EPCOT or the buffet at Cape May in the Beach Club.

Both are character meals, but the food was above average.

I really want to try Crystal Palace, but I don't know if I can convince everyone else to join me. Everything I've heard about it sounds so lovely. :cloud9: My mom loves omelettes so I'll definitely add Olivia's to the list. :thumbsup2 Thanks for your input!

 I can't believe I forgot about the Princess Storybook breakfast! Eeee! I'll definitely have to strongarm the family into that one. ;) Thanks for the suggestions!

If you're a coffee lover and are doing Kona & Boma that's 2 of the best b'fast spots. Press pot of Kona and press pot of Kenya at Boma. I like them both, one of my favorites though is Yacht Club Galley. You can get buffet or order off the menu. How's this for an eggs benedict twist - crab cake and tomato on an english muffin with hollandaise sauce, very good.

We love Boma. Just don't eat too much!:cool1:

We did not like 1900 Park Faire at all, the food was terrible. Cape May has the best breakfast choices and if you go early the place is empty. The character interaction is the best, they come around often and talk to you by writing on the paper tablecloths

I'm not much of a coffee person, but WOW! to the eggs benedict at Yacht Club Galley. Anything with a crab cake pretty much means I'm in. ;) Thanks for the suggestion!

Another vote for Boma! Awesome! Thanks for your input! :thumbsup2

Aw, that's so sweet about the tablecloths! That's a second vote for Cape May. :teacher: Thanks for your opinion!

My favorite breakfast item is the French toast @ the Crystal Palace. No trip is complete for me until I've eaten there. Another MUST is Chef Mickey's. Food is good (normal breakfast fare) but the interaction and fun level is through the roof.

I would also suggest Boma. We usually eat there 2x's during our stay. It's great for the adventurous and those who are not there is still a good selection for them as well.

Happy Eating!

My DW and I love Ohana for breakfest. We dine there each time we are at WDW it is a fav of ours. Stitch is there and he is great. I once got in trouble with him. He took my hat and noticed my pin on my hat. The pin is the stroll #1 I hope we never lose site of one thing that it was all started by a mouse. In his way Stitch told me it was started by him. He took my hat and it did come back to my table a few mins later. The food is brought to you and the pineapple bread is SUPER. All of the food is super. We love it there :cool1: :woohoo:

I've heard a lot of good things about the French toast @ CP. Considering french toast is my favorite breakfast item, I'm really leaning towards this one as a definite possibility.

And yet another vote for Boma! I think I'm smelling a winner here.... ;)

OMG, I  Lilo and Stitch (I'm going to MNSSHP as Lilo, if that tells you anything.... :woohoo:) and I would love to meet them for breakfast, but we were thinking of doing Ohanas for dinner instead of breakfast. Hmmm.... Decisions, decisions.... :upsidedow

Thanks so much for everyone's suggestions! My stomach has been rumbling all day from all of your great ideas. :thumbsup2

Now all I have to do is decide.... :rotfl2:

Boma is great but so is Spoodles at Boardwalk. Fabulous french toast.
