Hi US/IOA wizards 
I'm looking at adding a day for Memorial Day weekend before our cruise. I see that I can get quite a discount with an annual pass. Do I have to have it when booking, or just when we check in? Second, can we upgrade my daughter's ticket in the park if we decide to get her the pass as well? We aren't newbies but have never stayed onsite. Lastly, does everyone think Diagon Alley will be in soft openings that weekend? Obviously we can't know for sure, just your educated guess. I want to roll the dice if I think we have good odds. We're all huge HP nerds. Thanks!

You do NOT need to have the annual pass when you are booking the reservation -- and they don't always ask to see it even when you check in. If they do ask for it when you check in, and you don't have it printed / don't have it in your hands yet, just be prepared to show your proof of purchase. I bought my annual pass online, printed it at the will-call kiosk at the hotel, and no one ever asked to see it.
