I AM SORRY I HAVE A COUPLE MORE QUESTIONS? THIS WILL BE MY FIRST TIME CRUISING AND I'M A LITTLE NERVOUS! I WAS THINKING ABOUT FLYING INTO ORLANDO THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CRUISE AND STAYING IN A HOTEL FOR A NIGHT AROUND PORT CANAVERAL. HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THIS? I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE BEST TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL TO THE CRUISE. ALSO, WHICH HOTEL WOULD YOU SUGGEST? EVERYONE ON THIS WEBSITE SEEMS TO BE SO HAPPY WITH THE CRUISE! ARE THERE ANY DISAPPOINTMENTS? ARE THERE THINGS THAT I SHOULD SKIP ON THE 4 DAY CRUISE? ARE THERE THINGS YOU CAN'T MISS? I APPRECIATE YOUR TIME. THANKS!

This is the recommended way to do it, to guarantee you don't run late for sailing.

Now, here you can go 100 different ways. How many people are in your party? If it's 2, 3, or maybe even 4, I'd suggest staying in the airport Hyatt and do the Disney Transfers. The Hyatt is IN the airport and you can then use Disney's shuttle to / from the port. That is the least complicated, and they will take care of your luggage from the Hyatt onward.

It's not long enough? Seriously, there are far and few between; sometimes a mechanical problem can ruin someone's cruise or maybe their stateroom is in an incredibly loud location, but overall it's a great trip. :)

A lot of it is depending on your interests, they have something for about everyone on the trip. From Bingo to 3 separate niteclubs with shows every night. I'd say do not miss the big stage shows, don't go to Palo the first cruise or you'll miss one of the regular rotation restaurants, Take your time and enjoy what you can get to and don't worry about what you wind up missing, as there's always something going on.

I would also ask that you please don't type all in caps, on the internet, that's equivalent to shouting, thanks. :)

I would highly recommend staying at the Hyatt MCO and purchasing DCL transfers. It is the most convenient way to go. The hotel is kinda pricy but the rooms are large, clean and you can get a great view of the runways (the hotel is in the airport) They pick your bags up for you in the morning and the next time you see them they are in your stateroom.

Kristen, you are braver than me, i'm scared also, thats why we haven't done one, let me know how your cruise turned out, Good luck, and have a good time!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc disneykid

You can do a lot of different things.

You could rent a car at the airport and drive to the port. There are several hotels out that direction. The Radisson and RonJon's are the ones a lot of people are using. www.dcltribute.com has a lot of info on Port hotels

You could take a towncar to the port the day before and stay in a hotel by the port.

You could stay near (or in) the airport and either take transfers or book at towncar the next day straight to the cruise terminal.

There are a lot of frequent cruisers on this board. Asking if everyone here has enjoyed their cruise is like asking everyone on an Englebert Humperdink fan site if they like Englebert's music. We enjoyed our cruise a lot more than we thought we would and have booked another. But not everyone enjoys cruising.

We skipped a ton on our four day - never went dancing, didn't play Bingo, didn't go to Palo (the adult only alternate restaurant), didn't use the spa. But we were very busy even without these things.

I suggest you use priceline.com no matter where you choose to stay. Go to biddingfortravel.com to get information on hotels and the going rate. Car rental info too if you need it.
