This will be the first time we've ever attended the Halloween party AND the first time we've been to DL. I've heard about the party at WDW and wasn't sure how different the two were.
First- when meeting the party characters, specifically the villains, will they sign autographs? Are the villains in the parks during the day as well?
Second- I know at WDW one of the big draws is meeting all 7 of the Dwarves. Do they do a meet and greet at the party in DL?
Third- Another big thing in WDW is the photo pass picture of the Ghost Hitchhikers outside the Haunted Mansion. Do they do special photo pass pictures like this at DL? Do they have the hitchhiking ghost one?
Fourth- The one thing I'm really not getting are the candy trails. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe it's because I'm going with a four year old who doesn't really know the appeal of candy yet, or maybe it's because we're attending the party 3 days before Halloween, but I'm just not getting the huge appeal of trick-or-treating. I was reading a bunch of posts from or about the party, and everyone was talking about the candy trails/stations. So many people were writing about how proud they were that they made it to all the stations and how they came home with 20 pounds of candy (I for one would NOT want to be carrying that around all night!) First off, what's the difference between the trail and the station? I read from a lot of people that the lines were pretty long for the candy. So I guess I'm confused as to why people would spend $60 to go to this party to trick-or-treat instead of spending that time doing all the other stuff.
Thanks for your help!
