We are staying at the cabins from July 15th-July 25th this summer.

Question #1: Should I call and request a cabin area/loop and what are my chances of getting it.

Question #2: As far as eating with the characters, how soon do we need to reserve a spot, and where is the best place?

Question #3: We arrive on Sunday afternoon the 15th. How hard will it be for our family to go get groceries at the Super Wal Mart or Target down the road? I mean can you go to the front gate and get a cab or will a cab come and pick you up at the cabins?

thanks in advance for any responses

#1. Yes you can call and request a cabin area/loop. They will not guarantee it but usually they are pretty good about getting you as close as possible to what you ask for.
#2. There are many places to eat with the characters and you should reserve ASAP. The best place is a matter of opinion , it depends on which characters you like the best. I like the Crystal Palace because I like the Winnie the Pooh characters, but my son likes the Ohana Breakfast because he is a Stitch fan.
#3. I've never done this before but it seems to me that Tiffany Town Car service used to offer a package where they would pick you up at the airport and stop at a grocery store on the way to your resort. I've also heard of people ordering groceries to be delivered to their resort. Also I believe the taxis can only drop you off at the registration desk. You may want to ask these questions on the Camping thread and perhaps someone can give you some answers based on their experience.
Good Luck on your trip and have fun.:thumbsup2

Hi! We will be there July 18th - 25th at the cabins as well. You may want to look into renting a golf cart so regardless of where you stay you will be able to get around. You can reserve them now...
Also, if you do not have a car, it is cheaper to use www.gardengrocer.com and have them deliver your groceries. That is what we plan on doing even though I will have a car. It is just easier for me.

Do you know how to use a charcoal grill...It's been many many years since I used one (close to 30) and not sure how to use one here. Hopefully, there will be some directions since DH is not coming down on this trip - LOL:rotfl2:
