A Christmas Surprise.. Dec 2011

Hello everyone this pre-trip report will be about my Christmas surprise for my two daughters.. My husband right along with my parents have been planning this surprise for my girls since the beginning of the year.. I decided that I was gonna start writing about it now so this way I can keep my thoughts and plans all in one place..

I would like to introduce the people that will be joining me on this very magical surprise...

This is my mother better know as Grandma. She has never been to Disney World she has only been to Disneyland and that was when I was still a little girl.. So she will be in when we get there.. She likes to ride roller coster and just act like a kid when she can.. She helped raise my oldest daughter when dad was not around due to his military obligations..

This would be the part that I would introduce my dad better know as Grandpa but I don't have a picture of him right now once I find one of him I will post it so this way you can meet him.. My dad right along with my mother have never been to Disney World only Disneyland.. He is not big on rides so I don't see him getting on any rides unless we can talk him into going on TSM but thats a big "IF"

This is my oldest daughter Yasmin She is 14 years old and she does not like Disney Princesses.. She is my tomboy.. Her favorite activity is Swimming she is on the High School Varsity Swim Team for her High School.. She is not a thrill seeker she does not like to go on any roller coster unless its BTMRR she could ride that all day if we let her.

This is my youngest daughter Rebeka and she is 11 years old and she is still a Disney Princess but i'm not to sure how much longer she will be one.. She LOVES ducks of any kind she has a duck collection in her bed room and when we where in Disney World in 2009 I had to take pictures of every duck she saw so she can hang them up in her room.. She is my thrill seeker she LOVES to ride roller costers with me I am hoping to get her on EE on this trip..

This is my husband better known as Jake or dad he is 40 years old and he just LOVES Donald Duck.. He likes Donald Duck when he is angry for some odd reason. He's not into Disney like I want him to be he feels there are other places to see/do when were are on vacation then just Disney.. His favorite park is Epcot..

Then there is me Melinda and I am 36 years old and the Disney LOVER.. If I had my way I would be in Disney every day of the year.. My favorite is Mickey and Eeyore.. I have several stuff animals of the two of them.. I am the thrill seeker in the family besides my youngest daughter..

In the next installment I will list dates and resorts we will be staying in for our Christmas Surprise of 2011..

Your dh... I think many of us here on dis have those kinds of husbands. The kinds that want to go somewhere... anywhere else.. at some point. Really? What else is there? My dh is not a full time disney addict like me. Just the other day though, he said he was looking forward to his "disney chip" being activated again in December. I will have to explain that more on my PTR... but it shows me that there is some glimmer of enthusiasm brewing regarding the trip.

Thank you for the compliment on my girls.. Yeah the Dec pre trip report.. I'm really eager to write this report. I can't wait to see who all follows.. Thank you for being my number one follower...

My dh is looking forward to this trip.. He is letting me do what ever I want as long as I stay within budget and not go to overboard on this trip.. I just don't see that happening though not with my parents who have never been there before my dh and I are the ones that are paying for this trip including my parents part of the trip so I have to be frugal on this one and I have no idea how to do that...

Awe, surprising your girls, that's so fun! I can't ever surprise anyone with anything, because I get too excited and can't keep my mouth shut! I'm excited to read about your plans!

Okay everyone I can finally type with out having to lock myself in my office or keep on looking over my shoulder to see if the girls are near me...

Thats right the Wilderness Lodge.. We have never stayed there before it is now our home away from home.. we are now DVC owners and this is were we will celebrate our Christmas surprise...

My girls are gonna be so thrilled.. I can't wait to see the look on their face when DME drops us off there.. they will be like and

Oh this is gonna be so much fun.. My parents though won't join us in this resort until the last two days of our trip they will be staying at ASMovies but thats okay...

Next up will be the dates and how will we get there???

Oh, Wilderness Lodge! I love WL, and especially at Christmas. I think it is the perfect Christmas resort! Y'all will love it!

I sure do hope we like it.. from the pictures that my dh has seen he seems to like it.. He likes the way it looks all rustic and stuff.. I just can't wait.. I just might have to go over there to the WL when I am there in Aug for my Girls Week Out trip that I am going on.. I think I might go over to that resort when my sister has my girls at Blizzard Beach so I can take pictures and look at the gift shop since I LOVE to shop...

Okay everyone you have met the cast for this trip, you already guessed were we will be staying next up will be the dates...

Our trip will begin on Dec 22 and it will end on Dec 29th.. My next major hurdle will be to find CHEAP airfare on SW since that's the only company my parents fly with... I want to be able to get on a flight that will have us change planes in San Antonio so we can be on the same plane with my parents since they live near the San Antonio airport.. It just seems easier for us if we fly down on the same airplane this way we don't have to be looking for each other once we land..

Not to sure what will be next on my journal but stay tuned more will be on the way
