Is it better to see the parade in the afternoon or evening? It will be showing at 3pm and 5:45pm when we are there Thanksgiving weekend. From the pictures I have seen from last year, the parade looks so much more vibrant in the daytime, plus it's easier to take pictures. Or, is the nighttime parade more magical? Does it snow during/after the nighttime parade?

Also, does anyone know if they will still have the Frozen pre-parade during that time?

Thanks!

If you could, I would see it both time. I like the day time version for the reason you listed (it's easier to photograph), but the nighttime version does seem more "magical". I suppose if I was had to pick just one, I would go with the nighttime one.

I like to try and see it both times. I love the daytime so I can get great pics and then at night I can just take it all in and enjoy!

If I only had the option of one time, I would probably chose the day time for the pics.

Hmm, sounds like I need to try and see it both times then! Thanks :)

Does the parade start and end the same for both times? Or does it reverse?

The first parade comes from it's a Small World, and the second comes from Town Square.

We saw the nighttime parade last week and we loved it. It was hard to take pictures at night so look for the big spotlights and avoid them if you can.
You can see the light that messed with our pictures. We were across from the light. We sat on the corner near the fire station.

Anna and Elsa had their own float.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that is set in stone. Now that the parade is running regularly twice a day it probably works out that way, but there's a portion of the holiday season when it only runs once a day, and I believe it just comes from whatever direction it last ended. (Also note that the schedule would then switch if there is a rainout of one of the twice daily parades currently running).

The CMs on the parade route will know which direction it's coming from.

Because the parade is running twice a day now, the first one is always from It's A Small World and the second one is always from Town Square. On days where the parade only runs once, it starts at It's A Small World.

Well ... let's just say that the CMs on the parade route ought to know which direction it's coming. :rolleyes1

Jade and I saw the Parade at night both times (Which I like more cause you can see all the lights on the floats better.)

Here's a shot of the Music box, which came from Town square.

This the beginning of the Anna and Elsa's part of the parade coming from its a small world.

I like it better at night, when it is more "magical," as has been said. Also, the second showing seemed to be less crowded.

Here now. What time does IASW light? Can we pick a spot for both the lighting and parade? What time does the parade end? We have tickets for WOC at 8:45 and want to get there 45 mins early.

Thank you!
