Just now listening to last weeks pod cast.

I'm sure I am in the minority, but I'm looking forward to the A cappella group in front of Test Track while it is down.

One of my favorite memories of Disney is listening to an A cappella group in Camp Mini Mickey several years ago. It was just one of those unexpected experiences stands out years later.

If we happen upon them we will likely stop and listen next week. I think it just seems like a weird substitute to say "we're taking down a major ride and giving you a singing group".

It is like when the Lights of Winter was replaced with a Gospel Group.

I'm hoping it's the Voices of Liberty dressed in futuristic clothing and singing songs like "Hey Mr. Spaceman" ;).

The video I watched with the singers does nothing for me. The person commented that the crowd diminished while they were performing.

Don't try to tell me that singers make up for an attraction being closed. I don't think they will be there through the entire rehab but that is just my opinion.

I found myself cringing when i saw the video. Seemed like it was really hastily put together. It's a shame. One of my favorite things in Disneyworld is watching the live entertainment.

But really I found them to be awkward to watch. You shouldn't have to pull people in to watch your act. Your act should be good enough that it draws people to it.

I have seen the video. If they are bad, that is a different story.

I will give Disney credit for trying, they just didn't try hard enough, in my humble opinion. WDW is the preeminent theme park in the county (sorry DL fans) and when they put on average to poor entertainment, it sticks out. It just seem so contrived and forced, not to mention some pretty noticeable pitch issues.

They should have put the acapella group on the monorail.;)
