A bugs life [ gone and replaced ]

I have heard from my friend that has been to Disney world that "A bugs life" is no longer shown in Animal Kindom inside the tree of life anymore. It has been replaced with a new show, with Shrek. It really is a shame A bugs life was replaced it was one of my favorites.. Anyone seen this?

I haven't heard this. Isn't Shrek made by Universal and one of their movie companies anyway?

This is not true. "It's Tough to be a Bug" is still at AK and will be for a very long time. The Shrek attraction your friend speeks of is at Universal Studios. Shrek is not Disney.

Sorry to seem dumb, but what do people on here consider to be a "troll"? I've seen it a couple of times, and I'm guessing it's when people just post a thread trying to cause some problems. Am I right?

Shrek was made by Dreamworks SKG. SKG is Spielberg, Katzenberg and Geffen. I seriously doubt these days Jeffrey Katzenberg would have anything to do with Disney, given he was their studio head (and responsible for turning Disney's animation units around with movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Beauty and the Beast) before being fired by Michael Eisner in a dispute after Frank Wells died in a helicopter crash. He sued Disney and settled out of court for somewhere between 100 and 250 million dollars.

Yeah. I don't expect to see Shrek at Disney *any* time soon.

As has been posted, Its Tough to be a Bug isnt going anywhere for a long time. We were in there during this past Mar. and it was packed.
