I recently moved to CA, right down the street from DL. I have been to the parks a couple times, and I have discovered the toy of the year is a light-up bubble gun. It blows bubbles at a very high rate of speed, and does so constantly. They are seen most often used by kids in strollers, which puts them at face height for other children and people using wheelchairs. Cast Members selling them also blow bubbles, and tend to do it with their arms held at waist height.
i spent much of last night getting hit in the face with bubbles - never on purpose, but bubbles were everywhere.
I don't mind bubbles, and I am not allergic or anything, but I can imagine that for people with sensory difficulties, bubbles to the face may NOT be a good experience.
I also saw a large number of children toddler age and up chasing the pretty bubbles, regardless of where they were - one child went right off a curb! Another tripped over the trolley tracks. If you have an eloper, be warned!
Just wanted to give that heads up!
