A Brady Wedding

This is sort of a guilty pleasure. I just watched the actual wedding episode. As a brady fan I wanted to love Chris. And she did alot of things I didn't like. But in spite of her bad choices he comes of badly. In the final episode he showed his true jerk colors. He was horrible and bordering on abusive. Adrienne should have run from that marriage. Her dad also should have decked both Chris and his dad.

The only reason I assumed he didn't is that they edited it weird and made it look worse than it was. Who knows. The bachelor/bachelorette party was a train wreck as well. None of his marriages of lasted more than 5 years. I give this one a year. Maybe they are made for each other but it doesn't look good.

However, if anyone had cameras on DH and I constantly and had the power to edit out the good...people might the say the same about us even though we have a good relationship. We have our moments.

I hate saying this, but I live in the same town the new Mrs. Knight is from!! Luckily the other side of town!!! The good side!!!
I also know of the bar they went to in one of the earlier episodes, it's in the next town over (where we just moved from). They left a HUGE tab there. Never paid it, so far. This comes from a reliable source.

The show is a guilty pleasure for me and DH as well!!

I agree - this is a train wreck waiting to happen. She went after him like a spoiled little girl going after a lolly pop. She wanted it - she begged for it - she cried, she had tantrums and finally when he was exhausted - he gave the spoiled little girl what she wanted despite his reservations simply because it was the easiest way to handle her.


Chris on the other hand is letting the "little guy" rule his decisions...

I have zero respect for either of them however their antics do make for a mildly interesting show....LOL

I have never seen so much crying and commotion before a wedding. I give it 18 months max.

By the way, was it just my taste, or was that the UGLIEST necklace that he gave her in the last episode? Yuck!

For sure! He is 25 years older then she is and it definately shows. I haven't watched the new show yet I just can't do it. I decided I my blood pressure can't take it, and I don't have high blood pressure either.

this show is def. a train wreck, i simply can not turn it off. i loved the bachelor-bachelorette party episode. i got a kick out of "peter" and "greg" brady all grown up and out and about in vegas. loved it!

Those two are a train wreck. How many people go through that much BS before the wedding? She is way too young and he is ridiculous, though I admit he looks darn good for his age.

And, it was fun to see the other Brady kids at the wedding! Florence Henderson probably boycotted this wedding after he didn't heed her advice about Adrianne. I don't see why she was voted Americas Top Model? She is all right. but nothing special and I can't stand her constant smoking! How can her kiss her???

I assume Florence Henderson did not attend? She just seems like Carol Brady, moral compass extrordinaire (if you saw Surreal life you know even more what I mean) and she called it, they are doomed.

Honestly it means nothing. I saw something on that show and all but 1 or 2 if those models have done any "major" modeling. When I saw that I wondered what was the use of that show if they weren't going to be "Top models"

I actually hate the fact that I got sucked into watching this show. Nothing else good was on one night, so now I'm hooked!

Let's just hope that for their sake, they are really fairly normal and that most of their dull, boring life gets edited out. Think about what a day in your life would look like if it got edited down to 30 minutes. I would probably look like a raving, crazy lunatic!!

While she does seem awfully immature, he seems to do annoying things on purpose just to egg her on and make her throw little fits. Which in turn makes him look immature. So maybe they really are soul mates.

You really have to wonder if there is ever any mutual respect in their relationship. But then again there's something to be said for always fighting and making up!!!

Hopefully the two of them will figure it out before they decide to bring any kids into the world.

Oh, I have to confess I watched it too, couldn't look away.

I think they are doomed, period. They are just not right for each other.

I had to laugh though when the Dad spotted China Doll from the Surreal Life and made a comment about her shoulders being bigger than her waist and looking like a man.....I have always said that I swear China was born a man without a doubt.

Anyway..her sobbing seemed forced to me while reciting her vows..did anyone else feel this way?

I thought the funniest scene was during the bachelor/bachelorette party episode. Chris and his friends wanted to go to a strip club. Adrienne was crying and saying something along the lines of "Don't go-people still think of you as Peter Brady-you'll ruin your reputation." (As if we hadn't seen any unBradylike behavior in previous episodes!)

I also thought he was bordering on abusive. When they were on the bench in front of the church, it looked like he started to pull back and I was wondering if he was gonna hit her! Plus, if you know you are being filmed, why get rip-roaring drunk on national tv?? And, more than once??

As far as she is concerned, she set out to get the Brady and didn't stop until she got him. Now, what do you do with him??

Anyone else think her voice is very annoying??
