That is illegal here in Canada, cannot believe it isn't everywhere. Nasty. Who cares what your race, colour, national or ethnic origin, religion or creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, family and/or marital status, and mental or physical disability (insert anything else) is, as long as you do a good job and are a good person.

It's illegal here in the UK too - I'm appauled that in the 21st century people are allowed to behave in this way! Disgusting!

I am SO sorry that you had to take a hit like that.

I suppose a group of us (straight/g/l/t) going to that person's office and telling their supervisor that this person is insensitive and ignorant would be against that person's rights (?).
