I'm on the Dis boards everyday....first time I'm checking out the creative disigns thread.....I love it! I've been on the boards everyday for a very long time...I can't believe I've never clicked on....
I'm just a bit confused....
#1 How do you go about making a design? Do you need special software ( please keep in mind I don't know much about computers..)

#2 Is it possible to put someone's design on a T-shirt.......and if so how do you go about doing this...

Gotta run, more threads to check out...

Thanks! I'm so excited I found this :yay: :yay: :yay:

You can ask for any design you see to be personalized. Then you just save it to your computer, print it on transfer paper and iron it on a Tshirt. It's really fun. Welcome to this board. :goodvibes

Thank you for the info....
so once I get it personalized, and save it.......does the transfer "iron on" paper fit where I would normally have regular computer paper?

I tried to warn you I was confused....:rotfl2:

One more question.....Where does the "clipart" come from for the designs?

Yes. You put the transfer paper that you can buy at Walmart, Target, Staples, etc in place of regular old paper. There are two types of transfer paper. Light transfer and dark transfers. You can use light transfer paper on white shirts. I would use dark transfers on any other color of shirt. You can also use dark transfers on white tshirts. Avery brand transfers seem to be the transfers of choice here. You just follow the directions exactly as they appear on the transfers.

The clipart comes from alot of different places. Many are wallpapers or disneyclips.com.

When you go to print, click on the printing preference, select transfer paper, then click the advance button and arrow down to "mirror image" click on that it will then say, "yes" click ok, then print..You can also in the advance section, make your image smaller...Good luck and happy transferring:) It's awesome what these designers can do:)
