A BIG Thank you!!

My daughter just came in from preschool & when we checked the mailbox...there it was ...her postcard from Cinderella!!! She is sooo thrilled. She couldn't believe Cinderella herself had gotten it for her, & then signed it not once but twice "& put her picture on it too mommy!" She keeps asking me, "How in the world did she do that?"

I just wanted to say a great big thank you to Verandah Man & his helpers in Florida. I have no idea how many children they have made smile with these postcards...but it is so wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

When we return next year to WDW & the Wonder I will certainly be stocking up on postcards so that I can hopefully do the same thing. What a great idea!!

We are still waiting our postcard, but when I emailed verandah man, I asked about how many he has sent out to kids....he said over 600!!! He is truly amazing... I hope he knows how happy he makes everyone... he's like the Disney Santa!!!

I have to add my great big THANK YOU to Verandah Man! My DS 6 was sooo excited. He couldn't wait till his Dad got home to show him. Our DD's 16 and 13 enjoyed it too. But they think I have gone completely over the edge with this Disney Cruise! They cannot believe that someone would do this for us. I'm sure they think we are all "Disney crazy". Oh well what a way to go!

Andy is a very amazing young man - the time, effort and monies put into a project that brings so many is well worth the recognization he receives - I have seen the postcards and was overwhelmed how well done and personable they were.

Once again another big big thank you to Varandah Man, he is truly magical. He even posted my daughters postcard in an envelope for me to give it to her when we get there, as the cruise is a birthday suprise for her. As I mentioned in an earlier post it managed to get here in the UK from the US in 4 days. It sometimes takes longer than that to send mail to friends who only live a mile away in the UK. Must have been the pixie dust.

Aside from my daughter's postcard, I had a very special request the he very gladly filled. We have a friend in MS who is only 3 years old and is suffering with a brain tummor and all that goes with it....such a horrible thing - especially for such a sweet innocent child

There is obvioulsy no WDW or DCL trip in the near future planned for Hanna and VerandahMan immediately replied and has sent a postcard to Hanna from her favorite Princess - Snow White - what a Disney Angel indeed!!

My DC are 15, 13, 11, and 9, with the oldest 3 being boys. Verandah Man sent all 4 a postcard from different characters and my DC loved them! This added to the magic of our "Wonder-ful" cruise! What an unselfish and magical thing to do for all of these children! It does take a special person, indeed!
