A Baptism, MNSSHP, & FD...sweating our way through 6 days at POP!! Completed!

Discovered your report today and I'm all caught up! We were at POP the 2nd through the 11th. I keep looking for a glimpse of our family in your pictures. lol

Chef Mickey's is fun for breakfast and it looks like you guys had a great time. I love seeing Juliana's pictures too - very cool! I gave my DS several disposable cameras the last two trips and I'm amazed how well he take pictures! I'd like to say he gets it from me! :cool1: HA HA... :) I do love photography...

Oh thank goodness you got your AP all straightened out and aren't you glad you walked away and thought about it? :) It's nice when things work out the way they are supposed to!

Can't wait to see more POP and MNSSHP! YAHOO! :cheer2:

Good luck tomorrow and sending lots of positive vibes and prayers...

Heather

OK, finally all caught up on your TR, still need to catch up on the PTR.

Your POP pictures are great. Stinky about the view though, but I guess not every view can be a great one. The Baptism looked like fun, what a great cake, and the babies name is :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 , lol, that is my oldest sons name and he was a big baby too.
I have some more POP pictures in the next update.

The baptism was fun. Glad Florida churches are air conditioned!!!

Glad you all enjoyed CRT. My Jack has the same camera as Ana, but ours is blue of course. You guys got a lot done on your first MK day, I'm impressed.
We did have a great time at CRT. It was a fun time!

I felt like we didn't get a lot accomplished, but looking back we did. I never got to ride Thunder Mountain or Splash.... it OK though. It is on my must do list for March.
Chef Mickeys looks like so much fun, your Juliana is so cute. I love her expressions though out the TR.
Chef Mickey's is good to see the characters. No lines and they come to you! LOL

Glad you got the AP upgrade no problems the second time around.:woohoo: And a discount on your MNSSHP tickets, score.

I'll try and keep up better now, can't wait to see your MNSSHP pics
MNSSHP pics are coming soon.
Hiya,

ahhhhhh - I love the piccies with the characters at Chef Mickey's - was it worth the money??? Thinking about it for next October..... only want to do one character meal....

Tessa
It is worth it but I think dinner is better, but also $12 more than breakfast. You get to see all the main characters- Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, & Donald
Great up dates man.....Juliana has the same little grin my two year old does---to me and my wife it's like uh oh, what's he conspiring to do??:lmao::lmao:
Oh yea... you have to wonder sometimes what they are up to... or what they are thinking of doing!!!

At least you know that the kitchen is clean...
LOL She took like 10 pictures of the kitchen!
Hey Tim,
Love the update! Looks like you had a great bfast at CM. Juliana looks so excited to be there! My kids were always so scared of the characters when they were Jul's age. The only character pictures I have is the characters hiding behind them.:lmao:
Congrats on the AP. I think you might have to book a trip after march now.
Bummer- you didn't get to golf, but I'm sure you had a great time at the pool.
There are always other trips is what I like to say.
Hope you a great Halloween. Did Juliana go trick-or-treating?
HUMMMM another trip? As of now there is nothing on the horizon. Juliana has always been OK with the characters.... she would sometimes get shy with the face characters though.

I will post a few pics on my PTR of her trick-or-treating.

Awesome update, Tim. And I'm so happy to see you in numerous pictures this trip. :rotfl2:

I'll be thinking of you guys tomorrow.
I was getting better getting out from behind the camera and getting in front of it.

Thanks for thinking of us.
such a fun update to read this morning!!:cool1:
hope all goes well for you guys tomorrow!
I'm trying to get this TR done... it's taking a while though.

Thanks!

The pictures of you guys at Chef Mickey's are so cute! You can really tell how excited Juliana was in all of them :cutie:

Glad you got your AP without a problem. Sometimes it's worth just waiting and asking another employee who actually know what they're doing!
Juliana was having fun. She was in a really good mood.

I'm not sure if the problem was the I tried to upgrade the same day I used the ticket for the first time. Maybe you have to wait a day.:confused3
Great pictures at Chef Mickey's! Breakfast there is soooo much better than dinner, in my opinion.

Denise

I took pictures the whole trip while I only broke out the video camera 1 or 2 times. I think I like dinner better there.:confused3 Don't get me wrong.. breakfast was still good.

Welcome to my TR!!!!

I have some more POP pics coming up.

Heather

Juliana really likes her camera. If we gave her a disposable she would use it up in a minute.

Almost to MNSSHP... and POP pics.

Thank you for the prayers.

I love the update. Juliana is cracking me up with those poses she is doing. She is quite the model. I love it! :thumbsup2:rotfl2:
I agree about Chef Mickey's. We have only had breakfast there, but it was just ok. not awful and not spectacular either. I would eat there again, but more for the characters than the food.

Great pics and update. When she gets a little bigger you may want to get her a inexpensive digital camera. We got one for Avery when she turned 4. It was about $70 at Target. It takes much better pics than the "kid" ones-not that Juliana took "bad" pics. It cuts down on the glare and you can also erase all the "oops" Avery has taken some good pics with it.

Praying for great results tomorrow!

Juliana is really silly.princess:

It is so much easier to see characters at breakfast than to stand in line to see them. I'd eat there again for breakfast but I think I like Crystal Palace or 1900PF better for breakfast.

We will probably do the same thing. The nice thing about the Fisher Price camera is it seems pretty durable. Juliana seems to drop it a lot. I am able to delete pics one by one. I just haven't figured out how to format it yet. It doesn't say in the directions.:confused3

Thanks for thinking of Juliana.:flower3:

I never noticed the dog tag on Pluto before!

Great pictures Tim and Juliana! I think it's wonderful that Juliana has her own camera. AJ (DD10) got her own for Christmas a couple years ago and she has a blast with it. I'm so thankful for the invention of digital cameras and rewriteable memory cards - it allows her to freely explore her interest in photography without costing me an arm and a leg.

Of course we saw Donald too!

I guess if I had to choose a fav. it'd be this one!! Such life and joy all wrapped up in her!!

Score on the AP. I knew you'd get it all the time!! So, more trips besides March are planned, right? :rolleyes1

We got home and they already called with the results.

The good news (most important)- Her x-rays, & ultrasound show no signs of cancer. Her bloodwork came back very good, her ANC was 2500. All three of us had to wear masks and Juliana wasn't able to get the H1N1 vaccine. They tested her for the H1N1 flu and the first part of the test already came back negative.

Bad news- The second part of the test can take up to 3 days. So we have to wait to hear the results. Her chest x-ray was clouded, telling them she has some sort of respiratory infection. We are going to watch her closely and she is watching a movie right now. She still has a fever and will be taking a nap soon.

Hopefully it is just a cold- which I think it is.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.

Aw looks like Chef Mickey's was a blast. Love her poses while you're holding her!

I never noticed the tag either. I thought it was cute.

I can't imagine developing roll after roll of nothing. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Umm there are no other trips planned right now. :sad2: Hopefully I will be able to use it one more time after March.

She is always posing... wait till the next set of pics!

I kept hoping to see you on tonight, but you are probably tired from the stuff going on yesterday and with sickness.

Soooooo glad Juliana got good results!!!

It was a long day.. I even passed out while watching the Yankees game. I woke up in the 9th to see them lose. Then I went to bed.

I have a lot of catching up to do with quite a few TRs.

Yes it is good news!!:yay:

Ah, sorry to hear your team biffed it! Bummer!

Yeah, I guessed you zonked out. Go forth and catch up...

Don't worry, Tim. My youngest (the 21 year old know it all) said the Yankees would win last night so they can win the Series Wednesday night in front of their fans! :thumbsup2

They have 2 more chances to win 1 game.

I would of liked them to finish it out last night. Now I have to wait till tomorrow.

We were walking across the Contemporary parking lot and decided to head back to POP instead of playing mini-golf. It was about 11 and man was it hot! We drove back to POP and on the way to the room we walked past the 80's section. I loved playing pacman as a kid.

Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head were calling our name. We had to spend a few minutes with them.

DSC06463.jpg

After a few pictures, we were almost to the room. We showed Juliana how to play twister.

We were staying in the building that had the Mickey phone, which was across from the Big Wheel. It definitely lived up to its name- it was BIG!

This was the view from the end of our building looking towards Classic Hall.

DSC06475.jpg

We stopped at the room to get changed and headed towards the pool. There is a little play spot for the kids on the way to the pool. Juliana was all about it.

DSC06476.jpg

DSC06478.jpg

We found a spot right next to the pool and Petals.

DSC06481.jpg

There were people swimming but it wasn't too busy.

DSC06480.jpg

Melody wanted to lay out for a while and catch some rays, so I took Juliana swimming.

We swam for a while and Melody went to the food court and got us some chicken fingers and fries. Now it was Mel's turn to take a dip.

DSC06483.jpg

We didn't have too much time left. We were at the pool for over an hour and a half and we had to go get ready for MNSSHP. We walked over to the kids pool and let Juliana play.

After about 20 minutes we gathered up our stuff and headed back to the room. A few more random pics.

We all took showers and we were ready to go to the party!

Up next... ZzZzZzZzZz.... A Quick Change.....MNSSHP

Great photos, Tim. I have to say how impressed I am that there are SO MANY pics of you this time around. I hope this isn't a "one time" thing. You really are a great looking family.

Great update! Claire loves the pool too. I hope that our next trip we can take at least half a day for pool time.
