Oh I am SO sorry! I have lost both of my parents (before I turned 40); it is one of the most difficult things I have ever gone through. I will pray for you and your family.

I just got my 3rd chemo treatment yesterday for breast cancer that was diagnosed in late Sept. I come to Dis board whenever I can as it keeps my mind off all the horrible side affect of the chemo, and where I can dream my future disney trips.

I am so sorry you lost your dad, but you got to stay strong for your children. At least your dad got to spent time with his love ones during his last vacation at Disney. I hope you will find only happy memories about your dad on your future disney trips. I will pray for you and family, and hope your children will be feeling better real soon. That is so incredibly sad. I just don't even know what to say.

I have shared four WDW vacations with my parents (not counting the trips as a kid). I can not even imagine dealing with the pain this must be causing you.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my mom 2 months ago. She was with my dd, then 6, and me the first time we traveled to WDW. She had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and some heart problems. This was 4 yrs. ago. We had just been to WDW last August and bought DVC. We never got to tell my mom she would be with us this coming summer when we stayed in BWV for the first time. My dh just sent dd, 10, and me to WDW last week to try to cheer us up. My dd got sick, kept seeing all the places where she and her Meme had pictures taken...all in all, not such a great trip. But, compared to your trip, I think I'll just stop feeling sorry for myself. Know that we are all keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Don't worry about going back to WDW. It will be there when you are all ready to go. THis is going to be such a tough time for you all. Please take good care.
