How important is it to book at the 180 days out??

The places I 'think' we are going to do for our 2 week stay this time are
Chef Mickey's
O'hana brekie (gotta see Stitch according to my 6yods)
Planet Hollywood
Le Cellier
Hoop de doo (already booked)
WCC
Beaches and cream
Fantasmic
and the Grand Floridian Cafe

Do I have to call at 'exactly' 180 days to get the day/time I want or can I wait and call all at once at the end of April/Beginning of May for our middle of Oct stay? I don't want to get park hours and find out I've wasted their time and am changing it all!!

Chef Mickeys is pretty popular so it might be a good idea to do it at the 180 mark.
O'Hana...not sure, but I'm thinking if it's really important to you...then yes, get the ADR at the 180 mark.
Planet Hollywood...haven't been so I can't help there
Le Cellier is a must at the 180 mark...it is one of the most popular places to eat and is on the small size so fewer diners at one time.
WCC...pretty popular also, so it would probably be a good idea at the 180 mark.
Beaches and Cream doesn't take ADRs so you'll just have to wing that one...best suggestion is to go right when they open or at an "off time"...we went around 2pm and got right in.
Fantasmic...you can only do the Dinner package with an ADR and if the seating is really important to ya, then I'd secure it as soon as possible.
Grand Floridian Cafe...haven't been there so I can't help.

Well, that is my two cents...hope it helps!

Yup that sure does... thanks!

I guess I'm spending most of april making phone calls and listening to Disney music in my ear ;)

We made ressies for Chef Mickey's breakfast at 40 days out and had our pick of times on the day we wanted. That being said, better to be safe than sorry.

California Grill however was already pretty crowded at that point, and thus we won't be eating until 9pm-ish. That's okay though-- we'll get to see the fireworks. :wizard:
