A ? about the Mushroom soup receipe

that someone posted, a rich soup, should I use regular mushrooms or something special like Portabellos? Thanks.

I used regular button mushrooms (actually used the bigger ones for stuffing) and it was very tasty, but I bet it would be great with the portabello variety!

Do you think you could use regular mushrooms and add a few portabellos too and still have it taste all right? Thanks.

Well I am no mushroom expert, but I would DEFINITIVELY mix the variety. I think that the flavors would be very tasty!
