This is a quick micro trip for dh and a business colleague. They actually had a meeting in Melbourne Monday morning. They flew into Orlando at like 6:30 pm, Sun. had Berkley Edwards of Tiffany Towncar pick them up, Tiffany at first said no the van was too big for the 2 of them, but dh insisted he knew that was the only way to get our favorite driver Berkley. they went to drop off their bags at the Holiday Inn near the airport and off they went to Epcot. DH colleague is from Japan. DH asked to be dropped off at the Beach Club and they walked through the International Gateway, arriving after 7 pm. DH has a PAP, so he was free. They wanted $69 for the guest. DH explained saying they were only eating and staying less than 3 hours, so the nice cm gave them a corporate discount rate of like $49. They went to Teppanyaki and ate sushi and tempura, no adr, just went in and were immediately seated. His colleague enjoyed speaking Japanese with their server very much. He also liked the shopping area and said it was just like in Japan. Then just as they were finished they walked out and saw illuminations. They did a little walk around the park and some quick shopping and went over to the boardwalk area too. It was a quick trip and all in all his colleague enjoyed it and commented to DH - I never knew a place like this exisisted!! Oh, looks like he might be catching the magic. He has 2 young kids so maybe a trip will be in the future. My husband arranged all this last minute not even knowing if the guy would say yes, sure glad he did for sure.

it is pretty awesome for a newcomer ........Just watching it with my grown up kids the first time was worth it......thanks so much for telling us about the magic

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

That was nice that the CM gave them a break. I heard years ago, you could get in Epcot later in the day for a reduced price.

Thanks for sharing your husbands Epcot trip.

Sounds like a nice quick trip. Teppanyaki is a lot of fun.

Nice little trip!! That was very thoughtful of your DH to bring his colleague knowing he would enjoy it so much! Thanks for the report!!
