I need help deciding on where to plan my DDs 10th Birthday Dinner. We have planned a surprise birthday trip for her in Aug. and we are hoping for FD. Regardless, we are planning to go, so I need to plan her birthday dinner on the 17th. We haven't decided which park to go to, so my choices are varied depending on where we go that day. So, please help me decide; the choices are: Tony's or Crystal Palace in MK; Teppan Edo at EP; Sci-fi or 50's PT at DHS; or finally 1900 Park Faire. I don't know which to choose, who will show her the most attention, usually when we go in Dec. its the same time as her sister's birthday, so this is the first time we are going around her birthday and I want it to be extra special. Thanks!!!

Without knowing what your daughter is into its really hard to say.

At 10 my DD was still into the princesses so I would definitely have done 1900 Park Fare. We really liked the buffet here and I thought Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were pretty funny.

DD was never into Pooh so I wouldn't do that for her birthday.

She's also not into Sci Fi at all so I'd skip that one for her birthday too.

My daughter would like Teppen Edo, 50's Prime Time or Tony's, but at 10 would prefer the character attention for her birthday.

I voted for Crystal Palace as the food and the surroundings are just great.. We had fun when it was SIL's birthday and also this past September we did my husbands birthday....They had mickey confetti on the table and streamers.....Birthday card and a little cupcake....
HOpe you enjoy where ever you take her...

I voted for 50's Prime Time, just b/c most 10YO love roller coasters. There's no better coaster IMO than RnRC! She would have a great time with the b-day FP at DHS & also have fun w/ all the antics at 50's. Regardless, she'll have an awesome time! :thumbsup2

I picked Sci- Fi Dine In because that is where we are spending my DD10 birthday this Thursday. It was a surprise trip until 4 weeks ago so I had to guess where she'd like to go. She loves R&RC and TOT so I chose HS. Guess what? I was right:banana:! And she chose the sci-fi dine in too!!!! I must pay some attention to these kids when I'm not obsessing on the DIS!!!!!:surfweb:

My dd did her 10th b-day at 50's PT and loved it! Our server had all of our "cousins" sing Happy Birthday to her.

Since all the choices are so different, it's tough to say. Some 10 year olds aren't still into Princesses or would think Pooh is silly. Some would just love it. I would choose based on which park she likes best and spend the evening there even if it is not the "best" park to be in.

As far as getting extra attention. You just never know. The attention is random, not based on location. If you want a guarantee, you could always order a cake.

What ever you decide, I hope she has a wonderful birthday! :goodvibes
