I know we're probably crazy for even thinking it might work. We are doing the basic package (I'm painting nails night before) at BBB with our four girls (our youngest isn't 3 yet so she won't get to do it). We have already purchased the dresses for them and we're going December 9-14 so hopefully that little space of time where it's not as busy for Christmas will help us. Anyway, if I get the 9am for each one of them, call BBB to see if they will be able to do each of them immediately, rather than waiting for one after the other, do you think it can work? Be honest, I think I already know the answer. Is there ANY way we can be back to CRT by 11:15? My kiddos will only like the breakfast at CRT and we REALLY want to do CRT after BBB. :-(

There is no direct theme park to DTD bus service, so you will have to take a bus back to a resort and then transfer to a theme park bus or monorail. I would think if you have your own rental car it might be easier IF they all get their appointments done early. You have to factor in either parking (if you are driving) and security (which can take some time if the lines are long) Personally, I think it is cutting it too close. Disney dining recommends being there for your seating at least 10-15 minutes beforehand. The BBB experience might not be as fun if you are in a rush to get to your seating.

I think that you can do it if you make the appointment at the same time for all of them and then take a taxi to the Grand Floridian and ride the monorail from there, or if you take a taxi to the Contemporary and walk from there.

Think we can request a taxi van? A car won't fit us all? I thought about doing it the night before, but I'm concerned that one of them will really mess up their hair and of course their makeup wouldn't be fresh either. Decisions, decisions....

I would also be concerned that they are actually on time. We waited over 45 minutes past our appt. time to get in at BBB. Hopefully you would not have much of a wait since your appt. is early.

Rest easy!!! You CAN do this, but call for the taxi van. Our appts were even closer and we had no problem ... took a van to the monorail station after the photo shoot and high-tailed it to our lunch.:goodvibes

Just in case, a CM at the CS desk at DTD called CRT for us to let them know we might be running late. I think we were there 4 or 5 minutes after our ressie, but there was no problem.

I wouldn't worry about having to wait for your BBB appt. You have the 1st for the day, so everything should be on time. Have fun!

Yes it can be done. But don't skip out on the photoshoot, that was one of the best deals and you just have them put them all on a photopass card and you can view them later and make a decision on the CD or purchasing a package.

The base package took about 20 minutes, but we were there at 8:30am for our 9am appointment and there was already about 5 or 6 girls there. When they opened the door to the store, we were behind a hugh family and so we had to wait about 5 minutes before they took us back to a Fairy Godmother in training. After the makeover we took a few pictures out doors and then headed over to the photo studio and no one was there (everyone else seemed to rush over to their dining reservations), we spent about 10 minutes getting pictures taken and put on the photopass. DD was hungry, so we got a pretzel for her to eat and we headed back to the busses. We were probably on the bus to the contempory at 10 or 10:15. We were the only ones on the bus and the driver overheard us saying how we could quickly get over to MK and he decided to make an unscheduled stop at MK for us. We were in the MK by 10:45.

BTW...we did take a bus from our resort to DTD early in the morning. NO worry about having to take a taxi, but we did say if a bus did not come by 8:15, we were going to call a Taxi.

The pp is right. Just get to DTD really early so you are first in. Tell them you need to have all the girls done at the same time when you book your reservation so there is no problem. You will all be so excited and a little bit nervous of the time so make sure someone is wearing a watch and keeping time!!! But enjoy it!! Your girls will love the experience and so will you. DOn't forget you get your photos taken at the castle to!!

Have a wonderful time!!!

I forgot, we were at WDW the same dates last year. It was busy, but not nearly as bad as it could be. You have the best appointment time for BBB so it will be fine.

Definitely do the taxi-van...why stress about transportation delays? We used a taxi-van for the first time on our last trip and it was the best $13 we ever spent at WDW!

Have fun!

Kathy

Oh WOW! Thank you all so much for you suggestions and replys! We can hardly wait. Now I just have to hope and wish and wish and hope (haha) that we get that 9am appointment!!!

We had a 9:00 am BBB appt and a 10:20 seating at CRT. We changed BBB to the next day based on suggestions here and a CM telling us we would never make it.

Make your CRT reservation first. The last breakfast seating is 10:20 and they ask you to be there 15 mins early.

Good luck!

Just wanted to comment that I was told that children under 3 can have it done as well if they have enough hair and will sit still. The main reason they say 3 is because typically that's when a child has enough hair to have the styles done. We were asked if we were taking our dd to BBB when she was 2 and I said no that she wasn't old enough yet and the lady assured me that there was no problem if we wanted to take her since she has lots of hair and actually loves having her hair cut/styled - we didn't because we hadn't planned on it and wasn't able to work it in - but if your daughter has enough hair and can handle sitting still there's no reason to leave her out :)

Well this just STINKS!!! I originally thought that we could book an 11:15 because allears says 8-11:15, but I think that just mean that it's open for breakfast during that time. Because as newmommy said, 10:20 is the last breakfast resrvation available at CRT (I confirmed by calling the dining reservations line). I am sooooooooooo bummed out! Now I have to decide if I want to go to BBB the night before so we can do breakfast at CRT or if we want to do BBB that morning and have lunch at CRT. I really don't think my kiddos are going to like the lunch that much (as far as food goes). :-(

BTW, I had just found out about my 2 year old dd probably being able to do it after I posted the first time. I was soooooo excited about that and can hardly wait!
