$99 Refurb nook - 3G + WiFi

Mine says it was delivered on Monday, but it's no where to be found. I've never had something like this happen. What do I do? It was UPS. Do I contact UPS or just contact the ebay seller? I'm so disappointed!:sad1:

the 3G model has a gray back. The regular wifi model has a white back. I was having trouble trying to use the 3G feature so I called Barnes and Noble. He told me that in order to use the 3G feature you have to go to Wifi and turn it off, then go back to go shopping and the 3G automatically kicks on. You can use the 3G feature anywhere that an At&t cell phone can be used, so practically everywhere! I did what he said and it works. That is so awesome, so you don't have to be connected to a wifi network in order to shop through B&N and order books. Hope this helps.
Does this run down the battery the same way that using the wifi does? Or is it less of a drain? If it's less of a drain, I'd just keep the wifi off permanently and do it this way!

Yes, the 3g is only for B&N book downloads. I had to go into the wi-fi setting and select our home wireless and add our password and then I was able to go onto the net to surf.

Thank you! That helps a lot!

Call UPS and give them your tracking number and see if they can help. They can usually track it down. I had that happen once, had to open a case and they actually called the UPS driver to have him describe our house where he left it, etc.... turned out he left it at a neighbors(why they didn't bring it down :confused3)
I would also contact the seller. Make sure you look at all the places it could have been left, side doors, behind bushes, etc

Good Luck!!!

If anyone is looking for cases, I noticed that JavoEdge has marked down some of their cases. I got one for $20 that was $49 just a day or two ago. Use the code Javo10off and you can get 10% off. I thought shipping was reasonable too!

It was delivered to a neighbors here too. Thank goodness! It only took them three days to bring it over. I'm glad they did though.

I am not sure about how much it drains the battery. When the 3G was on and I was shopping for books, I figured that the 3G turns off once I went out of the shopping place. It didn't go off until I put it in sleep mode. It may turn it off after so long after you get out of the shopping icon but I didn't leave it on for that long to see. I do know that after I put it in sleep mode for a minute or so and turned it back on, the 3G was turned off. It probably drains it just as much as wifi, so I will just always use the 3G.
