here’s a new ticket for Southern Californian residents that offers two days at the Disneyland Resort for just $99, and you can choose to visit either Disneyland park or Disney California Adventure park each day you visit (1 park per day). You can choose two days at Disney California Adventure park, or two days at Disneyland Park, or one day to go wild at each park. The new ticket gives you the flexibility to visit any two days between now and May 14, 2011, and other restrictions apply.

now the problem is i am from North Cal so can i ask a friend of mine to get this deal with their socal id & we use it (should be very good deal for family of 5). If so do they ask for socal id at the gates?????

any info pls

This is not a new offer, although the date may have changed.

All So. Cal. offers that Disney has are valid for guests who can provide proof of residency within a So. Cal zip code. The tickets are intended for use by a So. Cal. resident and Disney has the right to ask for a qualifying ID at the gate. Do they? Most often not. Can they? Absolutely. Will they? No one can answer that for you until you arrive and find out. If they DO ask for ID and you do not have a So. Cal. ID, you will not be permitted to use the So. Cal. tickets as they are intended for So. Cal. residents only.

P.S. I see this is your first post. Welcome to the DISBoards!

For $10 more ($109), you can get the same deal with Park Hopper tickets. We've already used the first day of our tickets, and nobody asked to see proof of residency or any form of ID. We printed the eTicket off the website (at the time of purchase), took them to the gate, and were issued regular PH tickets, valid for two days. Of course, we *do* live in So. Cal., but just letting you know we weren't asked to verify our zip code. :thumbsup2

It is because your billing address is valid and therefore already verified. We went president day weekend and used these passes and they were checking people ahead of us but didn't ask us? I am guess it's because we did etickets too and were verified, otherwise I cannot explain it lol
