Going to DW with my 2 and a half year old granddaughter and due to a family crisis we FORGOT to book a character meal!! Is there anything at all that we can do at this late date? We will be arriving on Sept. 9th and leaving on Sept. 22nd. Is anyone out there going to cancel a PS? I can't believe we did this - would it do any good to try calling over the next two days? What hours are the operators available? Any help would surely be appreciated. Thanks!

Calll tomorrow for PS! They have much available. Also, if you want a CB and they are not available tomorrow, try when you get there. Alot opens up or cancels at last minute.

I always make PSs, rush around like a maniac to get to my required seating and find the restaurant half empty. You are going on the off-season you will have no problems getting into character meals. (except Cindy's of course). Give a call tomorrow if you are not comfortable waiting until you get there. We are going in October with loose touring plans. I will call in the am from our hotel to get PS for the park we are planning that day. Hope this helps and have a great trip---13 days, I'm soooo jealous! By the way the number is 407 WDW DINE

We just planned our trip a few weeks ago and I had trouble getting any of my PS except one for Crystal Palace. I'm sure CP will have an opening for b,l or d. Try two days out also, there will be some cancellations and of course always go with the walk up the day you are there. Have a great time.

Kallison, when are you going? Maybe I should make the call. We have always been able to get into the Garden Grill and LTT with very little notice, I just have to be flexible on times. I just don't want to get there and not be able to do at least a couple of sit-down meals. Thanks!

Last year I did the same thing. I forgot to make our PS reservations and when I called there was nothing available at normal dining times with our 2 year old daughter. They only had 4:30's and 9:00's. So we went down with no PS. We went to a character breakfast 10 minutes before it opened and gave the hostess our name, we were the first ones seated, even before the PS. We were so excited! The only problems we had were dinner, so we had to leave the park a few times for dinner, but we enjoyed the break.
