90 day window/Split on-site reservation/Large Group?

My family and I will be checking into Coronado Springs on Nov 21, checking out Nov 22, then checking in at AKL Villas- Kidani w/ extended family on Nov 22-28. The 90 day window from my check-in date was today, calculated using the calculator on this site. I told my sister who is planning a b-day dinner for her son at O Hana's on Nov 25th for our group of 13 to try calling today. I gave her my reservation number to use so she could try for that reservation for Nov 25th and they told her that she had to call 90 days from Nov 25th. Isn't it 90 days from check-in for resort guests? I wasn't sure if she could use 90 days from Nov 19th since it was a split reservation and the check-out date for that reservation is Nov 22nd. Would it have to be 90 days from the check-in of our 2nd reservation at AKL Villas, so 90 days from Nov 22nd (which I think is Sunday, Aug 23rd). Or for group reservations (she called the group dining number) is it 90 days from date of seating? I told my sister to try calling again tomorrow.
