I apologize if this has been asked before, but I just ran in circles with a CSR who confused the mess out of me. :confused3

I called to make a payment towards my September trip, and I was thanking him and hanging up, he asked me if I knew about dining reservations. I replied yes, and that my booking CM had informed me to make reservations 6 months out and had even gave me the date to start booking! He immediately replied (though very politely might I add! :thumbsup2 ) , "That is incorrect. It is only 90 days out now."

I know that CMs and Disney employees are the best source of information, but I just wanted to verify with you all. Are we only allowed to make dining reservations 90 days out now, rather than 6 months? I'd hate to think it's only 90 days and miss out on a restaurant DF and I are excited to try.

CM was correct! Look at the first sticky at the top of the restaurant board! It has all the dining updates.

Oh bah, I guess I could've opened my eyes a little.

Thanks so much!

Nyla, you can make ADR's for Chef Mickey's and CRT at 180 days out. I just made a Chef Mickey's one for June no problem. There may be a couple of other places that still have the 180 rule, I think there is a sticky on top of this board.

Park hours aren't being released 180 days out anymore either. For example, May hours aren't even out yet.

This new ADR change is "permanent" but we'll see how long it lasts. Frankly, I am thrilled, 180 days was sort of crazy! I mean a lot of people can't book that far in advance, so to me this sort of levels the playing field a bit.

I'm actually pretty thrilled as well. I was nervous about having to make dinner reservations for 8 days six months in advance!

Thanks for clearing it all up! I'm constantly amazed by how helpful and kind everyone is. :lovestruc

When did you make your Chef Mickeys reservation? I've called x4 to get one for June and they wouldnt make it because they said they changed everything except CRT to the 90 days.

From what I understand, they are not supposed to be making ANY dining reservations anymore for anything past 90 days. But because it WAS 180 days for Chef Mickey's, Victoria & Albert's, & CRT, the window for those was opened, but shouldn't be booked anymore. Any reservations that were already made are still out there and will be honored.

I think it really just matters on the CM you get. But good luck getting one to make dining reservations at all!! The line is always "all circuits are busy" now, or you have to wait forever. How annoying!! At least i'm not calling from another country...

Below is from the first page of the sticky with all the updated dining information:
:)

"There is a temporary exception to the 90 day rule. CRT, Chef Mickey and Victoria & Albert's can apparently be booked up through June 19th 2009. This is a fixed date, and as soon as it's 90 days prior to June 19, they will be on the same 90 day schedule as all other locations."
