For Oak Trail you do (or used to) have the option of just a half set of clubs, obviously it's a cheaper option than a full set and doesn't weigh as much. I usually take the pull cart thing to put them on as even though they aren't hard to carry in the Florida heat it can make you even more sweaty. IMHO with rental clubs a half set is going to be good enough, by the time you've worked out your exact yardage with each club the rounds over LOL.
It is best to book a tee time as the course does get busy. Because it is a "family course" you can sometimes get held up, but as long as you're patient and don't let it stress you it shouldn't spoil your round. I've found that most of the time the other golfers will wave you through if they are taking their wife or kids out for a round of golf. Considering it is marketted as a "family course" I think it has some good holes and the greens are some of the trickiest that Disney has. The course is usually in excellent condition and there is a "replay" option where they'll let you go play another 9 holes for a discounted rate.
