$9 donut!!!

Has anyone tried this donut at Schmoozies?

Was it worth it?

My son really wants one but $9 for a donut makes me question my sanity.

I actually saw a You Tube video of someone reviewing the Spiderman version of the Scmoozies donut. It doesn't really look worth $9 to me.

We had one at the Guardians party. It was quite big. Not sure I'd say it was worth $9. But it was good. It had a lot of blackberry (I think or raspberry) filling. See if this works

yeah right! But if he wants one that bad I'd give him a chance to earn the money for it with chores or something so he can by it "himself". That's insane to pay for one donut. My grocery store was advertising a dozen for $6.49 & they are excellent donuts!

Update: we didn't end up buying it. We made up for it dessert-wise at Portillos and for $9, had a chocolate cake shake, lemon cake and strawberry shortcake.

Maybe not anymore. Truth is I don't know, but I know I want one, and that way I don't have to get up early to get it. Hype might be over now, but the bakery website still says to be in line by 7:30.

That donut is huge and would easily feed 3-5 of us. $9 doesn't seem totally unreasonable.
